Bayern's recent performances suggest Guardiola might create something even better than what we saw last season. I think this might be the historic season in which one club wins two CL trophies in a row.

At this point anyone stating Guardiola is destroying Bayern is in denial. I still think we were better last season, but it took a lot of time to get to that level. Guardiola's Bayern are improving at an unbelievably fast rate and are not far from that level. In all likelihood they will surpass it soon.

Nice vid :D Yes the sheer dominance and lovely display of passing and fluidity had me chuckling many times during this match. Oh, and Muller was awesome. At the same time I was worried about fast counter attacks against this 4-1-4-1 and Boetengs red.

Still laughing my arse off at the result. You made them look exactly what they are...A very ordinary team of mercenaries.

Not as shit as us though.

I've said it on here before, I'll say it again....Man Utd need Bastian Schweinsteiger....All our problems will be over. =P~

Back on topic, you lads may like this....I do.

General comment about City.
Anybody notice how their player recruitment has dropped off recently? I feel that they are no longer able to attract the prime mercenaries in the football world, but rather second hand targets that they surely didn't go into the transfer window looking for.
Big Signings
2009: Tevez, Adebayor, Toure, Barry
2010: Toure, Silva, Balotelli, Milner, Kolarov
2011: Aguero, Dzeko, Clichy, Nasri
2012: Rodwell, Garcia, Nastasic
2013: Navas, Negredo, Jovetic, Fernandinho, Demichellis
They hit their peak in signing players around 2011, but since then they seem to lose out to the PSGs and Monacos of the football world. This is just a stature judgement, as they are way behind many teams (even in England) in playing cohesively. They looked like hens chasing after the ball against Bayern.

I Dont think FFP's the main reason.

Martín Demichelis - 5mil €
Stevan Jovetic - 26mil
Negredo - 25mil
Navas - 20mil
Fernandinho - 40mil (Age 28, Not Exactly Young like Javi and Has been capped only 6 times by brazil, Gustavo's Better than him.)

10/11- 182Mil spent
11/12- 94mil spent
12/13- 64mil spent
13/14- 116mil spent (So haven't really spent less if they are worried about FFP and to offset this, they only sold tevez, others left on loan or free)

So I do feel they aren't getting their prime targets but rather settling for seconds.

Yeah, you can't exactly say that Agüero and Fernandinho are of the same value, can you? And even then, Negredo, Navas and Jovetic aren't exactly Özil, Thiago and Götze (and Micho definitely ain't Dante :P ).
The ideal team

Nobody messes with Negredo. Nobody! And thanks for that chart. Very good work indeed.

Big spending clubs will always find it hard to get good deals from other clubs becasue everyone knows that they have the money to spend so they are going to milk them as much as possible. I remember the Palermo president congratulated Napoli for milking PSG in the Cavani deal and he thought he could have gotten more for Pastore when Palermo sold him
