Not in the Allianz Arena if we have most of our best players available.

This...
We have to score more than one and early... Back in 2013 that Alaba goal after just a couple of seconds was the all important goal of the two legs...

Maybe Buffon will be generous again, who knows...

Yes, because with this goal in the beginning was mathematically enough for advance  , but the Mandzukic goal in Turin was very important too, because before that goal, I remember Juventus pressing too much on offense and this first goal automatically demoralized Juventus and Bayern dominate the rest of the game with authority!

Very true. They are an extremely solid defense and have the composure not to lose a 1-0 lead stupidly.

The winter preseason get more importance with this draw, because unlike last season, Bayern have not much time for get better, it is important to begin the 2016 playing well and having the important players fit.

What do you guys think of Morata? I haven't watched him a lot but I remember watching him and really thinking he was awful. He scored a goal, and it was a good one, but he just seemed very poor on the ball.

I wish we had less time last season.

Dybala is becoming a key player in their attack, forget Morata... they're not that dangerous in attack, but they can take a lot in defense, where everyone contributes... Allegri gets too much shit but he's not that bad at all.

I think that, as in 2013, Juventus will most struggle with our pressing. Serie A is tactically sophisticated, but they still don't have the tendency towards energetic counterpressing of the Guardiola/Klopp mould. Of course, while in 2013 our pressing was a bit more disjointed than these days (we played a slightly lower back line), Mandzukic made more than up for it, pressing the Juve back three as if he himself were three players. I don't think he'll be this big of a threat this time around for us, though - if we field Martinez against him, his offensive capability will be neutralized, and we are too good at subverting pressure usually.

I do feel that Juve will bring against us a fairly Chelsea-esque battleplan, though. A deep line with only two players doing forward pressing with the aim to create space on the counter or through a long, high ball. We can deal with this. The real issue is keeping our composure should we go a goal down first, which I feel likely to happen.

Also, should Robben or Costa be fit and fielded against Evra, then that could end up a complete massacre.

He's not a starter.

If we field a full strength squad for once, we'll win, no doubt imo.
If, like now, our wing play is completely dead, we'll most likely lose.

Because it is generally considered as an advantage if you get to play away first. Score an away goal and you have a huge advantage for the second leg at home. You can really set the tone for the rest of the tie, when you play at home first it's possible you already lose it.
It's just a small thing but it could be huge.
