Hahaha, I just noticed the similarities between both your analysis and theirs, so I got curious about what you're using. You should have noticed by now that I have no experience whatsoever with either of Photoshop or GIMP :P

Looks like he walked all the way to the halfway line.

at least ribery paid for that goal and he scored a goal of his own ! what about the two other goals of bate !! blame it all on JH !! he didn't learn any lesson from chelsea game !

Regarding Commodore's great analysis (well done!), I would like to point out to the image right after point 4 is described. Can anyone tell me why Dante was positioned so badly? His positioning looks hideous there...

I feel like Jupp told Martinez and Gustavo to play defensively to avoid counter attacks cause it got worse for Bayern defensively once Martinez came off.....

Yeah definitely.

machkover,

You obviously don't have to be the huge nerd that I am and make a detailed analysis with annotated pictures and everything, but your post is pretty much anything but constructive and lacks any factual analysis whatsoever.

So you "blame it all on JH"...

Would you also care to elaborate what exactly his mistakes were or do you just talk out of your ass to relief some pressure?

I have serious problems taking any of you hate-mongers seriously anymore. You offer nothing in the way of cold hard and factual analysis and all your "criticism" is based on emotion.

You are the guys who booed Robben in his own stadium.

I have no respect for you.

You have just stated the definition of a fan :P

@Commodore

I completely agree with that statement and thats a big reason I ranted about this whole "luck" and "winning mentality" issue. Nonsense like this is the reason why clubs dont care about fan reaction.....

Agreed with pretty much everything above except the Robben bit. Robben needed a shakeup reality check for his huge ego that was part of the reason for the loss.

But anyway, I agree that just showing negativity is very irritating.

Still pictures can only tell you so much about the entire story. I suggest you find a highlight video and look at the whole scene. He's basically only watching the ball, and completely ignoring Pavlov, also totally neglecting the coverage of "his" zone. I shortened this in my analysis to "he was acting like a headless chicken".

It got worse mainly because he brought Shaqiri for Javi, essentially switching to a 4-3-3 with a 1-2 defensive midfield: (which was a good tactical decision)

I'm a fan.

I'm incredibly emotional about Bayern, believe me.

I don't act like that.

You don't boo your own player in your own stadium, period. Especially not in the situation Robben was in.

That's equivalent to kicking someone in the nuts who's already laying on the floor.

F*cking disgraceful.

Can we please forget about yesterday's game. I still have people today come up to me asking if everything is ok. I haven't felt this ashamed since we took a beating in that Pokal final.

I get why he made it but i since Bayern needed to score right away and why it happened but i wish Martinez started playing more offensively from the beginning, his first assist he got for Bayern showed that he can be a great weapon in the attack. Especially his ball skills which i have to say are out rights awesome for a guy who plays his position, i bet he cud even teach Ribery some moves :P

Im not questioning your emotions toward Bayern but im saying you dont let it get to your head in the end of the day and try to intellectualize outcomes with out right nonsense :P

I agree. I too am eager to see more of his offensive skills, but like I said before: Jupp Heynckes doesn't roll dice. He's also not infallible, so not playing Javi more offensively might be a mistake, but we know for a fact that if he plays him defensively like that, he does so with a clear plan in mind.

I have no ambition to become a coach, but thanks. :D

I'd like to know what you guys make of the fact that we lost against a "park the bus" team again. Personally I'm torn about. We struggled more than we should yet again, but you can't really say we didn't manage to break down the defence when you look at the number of attempts on goal we had.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!
