Well

We Totally sucked , in fact we played even worse than our usual Bad Performances

but the difference was The Our Players wanted to win , you could see that they really wanted to do something and to win the game

And also that Schweinsteiger played a bit more offensively

Schweinsteiger can actually play offensive in our usual formation , but the problem is that With MVB next to him , he is afraid that We get killed in Defense

Just Repalce MVB with Tymoschuk and you will see Schweinsteiger help the offense

SCHWEINSTEIGER HAS THE HEART OF THE CAPTAIN

2nd LAst minute winner , YOU HAVE TO LOVE THAT GUY

I agree, it was the worst performance. What's worrying me most though is not the mistakes of defence and/or midfield, but the goal drought of our strikers. The last time a striker scored whilst he was indeed playing as a striker was Klose against Roma. In fact if you count out the goals against Germania Windeck (hardly a competitive match), Klose's goal was the only stiker goal from a striker playing position.

Mueller has scored a few goals but not whilst he was playing centrally as a striker (eg yesterday he was playing that way for a portion of the match, but he failed to score)

When will our strikers start scoring?
DvB playing in a striker position has scored as many goals as all the strikers

Ok... So MvB speaks his mind.... that shouldn't necessarily mean that he must play the whole 90 minutes!
Make him an assustant at the club, so he can speak to the lads
But when we are picking a team to play a match, they should be able to play a match.... Every one player should help and contribute to the harmony of the team... not stopping it every time he touches the ball....

And having playing time should be a competition based on performance.... How on earth has DvB earned the right to be a starter here?
And How on earth does Tymo not play?

OK... MvB had a speech between the halves.... Couldn't he have this speech if he was sitting on the bench?
Come on... Let the changes begin....

Time for overhaul!

Tymo is much better, put him in the midfield with Schweini, opens Schweini to feed the attack more, and obviously start Gomez until you sell him in the winter. Klose isn't going to score to save his life anywhere but the NT.

LvG was waiting for a turning point, but we've watched another poor display. We should have lost: Basel had a fantastic double chance around the 70th minute, they should have killed us, but they missed and finally it was "Schweini Time" again.

I'm glad to watch the CL group situation, but regarding the team's performance we have still a long way in front of us...

DvB and MvB sucked hard again, as our strikers, and we can't go on like this. :!: :!: :!:

Defense: I hope Breno comes back asap, as Micho seems out of the team at the moment and he'll probably leave in January, so the young brazilian is the only one who can kick our underperforming DvB out of the team... Contento is necessary to, as Pranjic is not a defender. Lahm and Badstuber will surely grow with decent defenders around them.

Midfield: MvB won't be benched under LvG. I'm starting to hope about unfamiliar situations like "please ref, give him a red card at the 90th minute, so that we can play a couple of games without him...". [-o< I think our captain is not that bad, but he's old and he needs a break sometimes: rotation would be useful for both him and Tymo.

Attacking midfield: Kroos and even Muller seem lost, as they're switching positions every game. Kroos is a CAM, Muller a RW or a ST: let them play where they're more dangerous, please. About Altintop: sadly I think we've seen he's not good enough to start with FCB.

Striker: Give Gomez a chance from the start, so that we can be sure that ALL our 3 main strikers totally suck. After that, let them go and buy Dzeko in the winter. [-o<

I'm wondering: why does every team score brilliant goals against us? why does every keeper play classy against us? I guess it's all about our defensive distances and our bad shooting accuracy, but it's a kind of bad luck too...
we need to gain confidence with a decent string of results to solve these mental problems, that's why the Dortmund clash is probably the Bundesliga match of the season for us. so the final question: are we really good enough to win at WestfalenStadion with DvB and MvB? personally I don't think so, but Borussia's midweek match on Thursday could help us as they'll be probably a bit tired on Sunday.

Anyway, THANK YOU BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER (and thanks to my prophetical signature too... )
Still missing my dear Deisler...

We need a game where we are winning comfortable. That way we can sub out Lahm. I'm pretty sure that that is what he needs. I mean, he's played in every game and only been subbed about once for almost a year, and we played the maximum amount of games last season, and he also played in the WC.

Also, a comfortable win will give that confidence boost that the team needs.
