Dude, you had Grosskid on your avatar and you're calling Lewandowski average? Really?

To be fair he's not calling Lewandowski average, only his finishing attribute.

For all the criticism of Pep's tactics, with a series of crucial injuries in that time that might've destroyed other team's chances (Kroos, Badstuber, Martinez, Schweinsteiger, Ribery, Robben, Thiago, etc.), we seem to still have done "okay"...

Last season;
We won the UEFA Super Cup.
We won the Club World Cup.
We won the league as "Rekordmeister", in March of all things.
We went to the semi-finals of the CL, as defending champs and two time finalists, but lost to the eventual winners (the 10 time winners of the competition).
We went on to win the German Cup to finish off a double.

This season;
Top the Bundesliga, undefeated, after 6 rounds.
Max points from 2 matches in Europe.
No problems in the German Cup.

It's tough to argue with results.

The only thing he didn't accomplish was to become the first team to repeat as CL winners since the early 90s when the game was far different than it is now. If that's what people are mad about then I think people's expectations might have gotten a little lofty, bordering unrealistic (if I'm being generous there)...

They used to similarly criticize Hitzfeld for "boring" tactics... but we won quite a few games under him as well.

If the thing that's slowing us down is teams bunkering against us, and struggling to find the way through... when we get into the late rounds of the competitions, and teams open up against us, we should be able to with ease. Or else, what happens is we play an entire season where the entire world seems to recognize that Bayern are unbeatable when you open up against them, and the only way to beat them is to park the bus, and we either win it all or eventually the bunker game works for someone (like it did with Real last year).

If you're being realistic, you cannot complain about enjoying the lions share of possession, dominating opponents into submission, having an extremely fluid attack that can get production from a variety of sources with regularity, having a team that's performed through injury problems and has players able to play multiple positions/roles to cover for such injuries.

But you're completely right.

What? His injury was so serious that he basically died for many Bayern fans.

What I see in Madrid is a guy called Felix Kroos. :P

Lotharis1 last season I wasn't among those that expected us to keep the Champions League title but that trashing from Real Madrid on home soil in a Champions League semi final is not something which gets thrown under the carpet.

Yes, your right. I mean, it isn't like he called a CB a lousy header, a full back a slow bastard, a CDM a bad tackler, a winger a bad crosser or the like. I mean, who cares about a CF's finishing, right? :P

Borusse, stop thanking MUTU and start showing your prediction for Dortmund today. You bet against them again didn't you?

In this moral morass called football, it's nice to know there are a few places that have some sense of decency. Bayern does what it takes to win, but it's awesome that the club looks after its own.

It seems CSAK found a liking in a game without fans.. Because the UEFA gave them 3 more without fans to enjoy.. Home games against Roma and Man City will be without fans and probably the one in the next season aswell, no matter if it is EL or CL.. They should thank their support for this :)

It's probably because of the stabbing? Was Roma sanctioned as well? It's their fans that looked to have instigated it.

Roma ultras are not Saints at all... In last coppa ita edition a roma ultra fired and killed a young napoli fan. I thing it is a no go place for our fans..
