There is no BVB forum dude, I told it dozens of times. :D Not an english one at least. :P

To be honest, you just beat the best side in Europe in the last 4-5 years by 7 goals! It must get into the heads of the players, there is just no way it didnt. But as I said, Heynckes's role is to slap his team in the face, wake them up and play another great match because if you dont then those great wins would lose a lot of meaning.

So, you're going to wait for him to ask the question before telling him you're Polish ;)?

Well that would have been my next guess. LOL

Only Polish word I know is an insult (I'm sure you know which one :D), so I'll spare you my Polish "skills".

Well, yes, that was the plan.

Yes, I can guess which word you mean.

Polish language is a very complex one. People who come here at the age of, lets say, 20 and live here another 20 years will probably still not learn this language correctly. Way too many variations of words and phrases, its a very flexible language. :P They will of course be able to communicate but it will be clear that this person is not a native. :P

So, since you're the only Polish person I "know", and I also know (without quotes) that the media tends to overhype situations and there is nothing that the media loves more than hyperbole, can you give me a first hand account of how severe the hooligan problem REALLY is in Poland?

If you believe documentaries you get to see over here (I AM German, by the way) then you might get the feeling that there is a MASSIVE hooligan problem in Poland.

Right now there is almost no hooligan problem. In the past there was several bad cases but it was never a problem of majority. Media tend to show the things that will get people interested.

Just to give you an example - I live in the suburbs of Wroclaw and we have lovely homes there, nice streets and all. But there is this one street with old homes from WW2. So of course when one TV station made a documentary about this area they only filmed this one bad street and showed all the negatives. That is how it works.

LOL! As a an African native i know how you feel, ppl think of the jungle, AIDS and mudhuts when i tell them im from Africa. Cant really blame them since the media never shows the many modern parts like my country Kenya has to offer and has changed a lot since i was little....

Well that's what I meant in my initial post. Media love nothing more than hyperbole, so when the German media tell me that ZOMG every Polish person is a hooligan (I'm hyperboling their hyperbole) then I obviously doubt that first and foremost. :D

You can never go wrong doubting the media. You can get a glimpse of how shitty the media really are when they are reporting about a subject about which you happen to know a fcukton, maybe even are an expert in. 99% of the time, what they report will be total and utter trash. Now extrapolate that to all the topics that you are NOT an expert in. Do you thing they just happen to report trash in the one subject you are knowledgeable about, and in all the other subjects they are spot on all the time?

NO! They are full of shit 99% of the time, period.

Did I mention that I hate journalists and "The Media" already? :D
