Kinda off topic, but I'll go with it. Ok, I was not aware that scientists are continuously studying this "written in the stars" phenomena.

I'm not going to argue with you about natural disasters patterns because I've read nothing about it, but let's get back to football. How on earth for some team it is meant to win a specific match? We see it countless times, more often than not the favorite team wins against the less favorite team, but surprises do happen every now and then, it's just natural.

If we could simulate last year's final 100 times (long term), we would have come on top at least 80 times IMO, but on a single night (short term) anything can happen.

If by "written in the stars" you mean a combination or an equation of the psychological side of the sport, concentration, inspiration, morale, luck (scoring when it's not really expected to score, e.g. a corner kick) and all the other things like getting the tactics right, not getting injuries during a match etc. then yea maybe such an equation exists but it's impossible to discover it. There are way too many factors involved.

You can find a reason for anything to be meant to happen or not to be meant to happen. For example, after spending 1 billions euros in the last 10 years, chelki winning the CL would go against anything karma or meant to be stands for. On the other hand "being robbed" against Barca and losing to penalties a few years ago kinda made it look like they deserve to finally win it. Sure they didn't by the way they played but the ball is round after all (anything can happen short term).

So, I'm browsing the internet for reviews/comments and it's funny that almost the entire football population is saying that "Bayern are favorites, but I see Dortmund winning this one" :P I'm serious, the same comment is there on every English-reading footballing site.

It's going to be one hell of a tough game, though. Both teams will be under a lot of pressure. For us, it is clear why. We want to win the damned thing after recent heartbreaks. For BVB, it might be the "now or never" tag, something that has been placed upon us last year.

Because we are underdogs. What would be so fun about saying that the favourites will win the final? Too mainstream.

^ Hehe, yeah. But with all those comments being agreed by almost everyone, the finale will approach with us being labelled as underdogs :P

I think you may approach the final with over-confidence. Winning against Barca 7-0 can really feed your ego. Its up to Heynckes to bring the players down to earth now.

And you'd think he has done a pretty good job so far this season, during which we have been breaking record after record after record after record...

All those records really got to our heads, right? I mean it's not like we didn't absolutely CRUSH the league, humiliate Juve, left you guys in our wake in historic fashion, etc.

Most of the guys in our squad know exactly how it feels losing a UCL final. Some of them twice. Make no mistake. We WILL be prepared, and we most definitely won't approach the match vs you like we've already won it.

I don't know how you're going to interpret this but:
You kind of are on equal level with us for the "favourites" tag. I'd say 51:49.
Besides, I'm sure Sammer and Herr Heynckes know what threats BvB can pose and know that they can't walk into this match with ONE bit of complacency.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)
