[2009-10-21] Bordeaux Vs Bayern Munich

Postby Slemba » Sat Oct 17, 2009 8:57 pm

Now it is time for real action... =D>
We are top in our group after an away win and a home draw only by goal difference favoring us over the highly rated strong Bordeaux but the good news are that they are coming from 2 defeats in a row, by contrast we are coming from a draw and an away win .
Besides this match will significantly decide the real leader of the group, it's most importance lies on that if we win (i hope so!), it would be a huge boost for us on the 3 competitions we r fighting in right now =D> .
I think if we can manage to win this one, this will be the real start for a long winning streak ... the only concern is : Will ROBBERY be fit for this match ??? [-o<

That is almost the most crucial game for the top place in the group...
If we want to go to quarter-finals, we must be in top of the group in order to have an "easier" second-one in the round of 16.

A win for us, or at least a draw is an absolute must. We can manage it, especially with Robbery playing...

I hope they are fit by Wednesday, but I won't risk them if they are not 100% fit :( .
Although a win would be magnificent and would ease the progression through quarter final but without Robbery an away draw is not bad at all...

I predict a draw if we play with Robben like I'm expecting.
A draw or a narrow loss if Robben doesn't play.
A 2-0 win if Robben plays and somehow Ribery is fit to play as well.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

Franck will most likely be missing this match, against his fellow Frenchmen. I wouldn't set my hopes on him in this one.

I dont think Ribery will be fit. Didnt they say hes out for an undetermined amount of time? This means that its gonna be a while...
And I dont see Robben doing well as the only creative player :S
We shud put Robben on the left.

I think we'll use the same 4-4-2 of Freiburg's match.

------------Butt
Lahm-DVB-Badstuber-Braafheid
-------Tymo---MVB
----Muller-----Schweini
--------Klose--Toni

Robben could replace Klose in the second half and assist Toni and Muller.

We must take advantage of Bordeaux's bad moment, I'm very positive we'll play a lot better, I say, 3-0 :D

Robben is weak as a striker..
His most powerful asset will be the wing....

Robben wont play against Bordeux: http://www.tz-online.de/sport/fc-bayern ... 97527.html
Braffheid have some problems with his muscle and maybe he wont play(maybe!!)...Ribery wont play either...so i think we will play that formation which shileno wroted.

If Braafheid also misses this match, we don't have a decent, defensive LB - who can at least close down his side - fully fit to play except for Lahm, who has to play on the right. Maybe fielding Badstuber on that flank if this worst-case scenario occurs might be worth a thought, since Bordeaux will surely try to get the full 3 points at home.

Breno is missing this match too, due to a stomach flu I think.
