It seems that Benfica will play their league matches on the same play Bayern play theirs. Finally no disadvantage with less rest.

Júlio César is out. A young brazilian named Ederson will be Benfica goalkeeper, probably.

I sympathize with Benfica. They lost a lot of finals. I think more than us and most of them undeservedly like the one against Chelsea. Ugghh! :-| I don't want it to get to penalties. It will never end. :P

And this means that Benfica is a very good team. Reaching to two europa league finals, being in quartefinal of champions league, means Bayern have to take seriously this opponent.

At this stage of the show I think it would be fair to say even United could pose a threat.

Benfica plays with a 4-4-2 formation. Their best players are Nico Gaitán, Jonas, Luisão (injury), Salvio (having some time of game after an injury, but he was fit for the quarters, probably) and Renato Sanches (great player with only 18 years old).
In Allianz they should play like this: http://lineupbuilder.com/?sk=sx28p

Last 5 results of Benfica games (all competitions):

Benfica 4-1 Tondela (game for the championship)
Zenit 1-2 Benfica (game for CL)
Sporting 0-1 Benfica (game for the championship)
Benfica 2-0 União da Madeira (game for the championship)
Paços de Ferreira 1-3 Benfica (game for the championship)

In the last 18 games (all competitions) Benfica just lose 1 game against FC Porto (Benfica deserved to win, but Casillas did well and prevented Benfica win), Benfica is in first place in the Portuguese league with two points more than the second, Sporting CP.

Benfica is very strong this season.
At the beginning of the season in Portugal everybody, including Benfica fans were thinking that this year could be a nightmare, new coach, injuries, a grueling pre-season, youngplayers coming for the second team, but now their season could be epic.

We can not think that will be easy to win them, they have lots of race, will and ambition.

I hope I was helpfull.

Actually, we should take a comfortable lead (meaning AT LEAST 2-0) to Lisbon, so we won't get in trouble there...

2-0 isn't a good result to go play in Lisbon.
