Any formation with Ulreich in it loses.

Even though we got battered last year, Neuer kept us in the game, even with 10 men, in both legs.
To win this tie, the defence has to keep RM down to 2 goals over the 2 legs and there's very little chance of that happening with Ulreich in goal.

No Bernat. Ulreich is fine.

I've made a small exercise. I got the overall ratings of the current FIFA 18 database (updated yesterday 16th April 2018) and ordered by overall rating. Here are the players.

I colour-coded:
blue for Real Madrid
red for Bayern
black for injured.

94: Ronaldo
92: Neuer
91: Lewandowski
90: Hummels, Ramos, Kroos
89: Modric
88: Thiago, Bale
87: Marcelo, James, Robben, Boateng
86: Vidal, Isco, Casemiro
85: Navas, Benzema, Varane, Alaba, Mueller, Ribery
84: Kimmich, Asensio, Carvajal, Martinez, Suele
82: Tolisso, Kovacic, Coman, Vazquez
81: Nacho Fernandez, Rudy
80: Casilla
79: Wagner
78: Bernat, Ceballos, Llorente, Vallejo, Ulreich

This means that Real Madrid could play:

Navas (85) - Carvajal (84), Ramos (90), Varane (85), Marcelo (87) - Casemiro (86) - Bale (88), Modric (89), Kroos (90), Ronaldo (94) - Benzema (85)

Leaving on their bench Isco (86) and Asensio (84).
Injured: Nacho Fernandez (81)

Bayern could play:

Ulreich (78) - Kimmich (84), Boateng (87), Hummels (90), Alaba (85) - Martinez (84) - Robben (87), James (87), Thiago (88), Ribery (85) - Lewandowski (91)

Leaving on the bench Mueller (85) and Suele (84).
Injured: Neuer (92), Vidal (86) and Coman (82).

Total Real Madrid XI 'points': 963 (avg. 87.55)
Total FC Bayern XI 'points': 946 (avg. 86)

In a combined best available XI, they could play:

Navas (85) - Carvajal or Kimmich (both 84) - Ramos (90), Hummels (90), Marcelo (87) - Modric (89), Kroos (90) - Bale (88), Thiago (88), Ronaldo (94) - Lewandowski (91)

An interesting observation: according to FIFA 18, if Navas (85) is injured, his replacement Casilla (80) is considered better than Ulreich (78).

Yeah, really big balls for trying something we never even did this season.
The reason why he should do that is beyond me.

It is risky but tbh as much as I love him I blame Jupp a bit for not experimenting enough. Playing both of Robbery isn't ideal imo but now anything else we do will be something we've never used before and therefore too risky for this game.

I don't know..people sure know how to overhype the overhyped players..

Real madrid have lost 5 games in league 2 games in champions league and the copa del rey as well..

They have conceded 35 goals against teams like real betis, malaga, eibar, deportivo et al..and their defence is bullet proof while ours leaks like a sieve with only big name players who don't perform..

They played against us most of the time with 10 men last season and got the victory with 2 offside goals and refree on their side..WHATEVER you say doesn't change this fact.
This time Harry Kane and Dele Alli f***d their asses ..buffon came very close to screwing them had it not been for 1 call yet we are the ones who are "F***d".

I didn't want to play them only because referee will also play for them otherwise I have no doubt if the referee is fair that we can beat them..the players will be seething for revenge while they will be overconfident. If the referee is fair we will win but I don't think that will be the case. But still we can go against the odds and despite bad refereeing beat them but our game has to be 100% spot on and thats very difficult..even with that though referee may send out vidal again for a fair challenge and casemiro will be on pitch even after breaking Ribery's leg. Ronaldo can be 20 yards offside but still referee will not give maybe..there's no limit to how much they can cheat ...they have raised the bar for cheating everytime comeback becomes more impossible for them.

One thing I can say with 200% confidence. They won't go through this tie with a fair game.

If we beat them it will be victory of football over corruption.

Prasun, I agree with your general sentiment and certainly believe we have a decent chance of going through if we play at our best, but you are exaggerating way too much. They're more than capable of beating us in a fair game.

Oh please... They tore our asses 2014 - and our squad was MUCH better then...
Even Leipzig and Gladbach can beat us, and we're about to give away a two goal lead at Neverkusen...

Are you watching? 5-2 doesn’t give justice to the game...

And with THAT kind of defending, we stand NO CHANCE

Yes, and even Espanyol and Leganes could find it in them to beat Real Madrid. You're acting as if mistakes in defense WERE INVENTEND by Bayern. Come on, now. Ramos makes mistakes, Pique makes mistakes, Chiellini makes mistakes, do you really expect Hummels and Boateng to make none? NEVER?

We get your point. They are favourites, but they CAN be beaten. Just like Bayern can be beaten, just like Barcelona was beaten by Roma, just like City(who I recall you so quickly deemed to be a superior club to Bayern), just like Liverpool can be beaten, just like goddamn everybody.
