oh please win convincingly. haven't had such a match this season yet. even that 6-0 trashing against Bremen, our first half wasn't awesome.

I expect something like 3-0... I don't want to underestimate PSV more than that. I wouldn't read too much from it even if it's 6-0.

Don't underestimate PSV, who will play 5 in the back and made life very hard for Atletico in the three games they played against them in the UCL (this year and last season). Atletico were lucky not to have a draw against them in the away game, and last season PSV managed to nearly beat Atletico while playing with 10 men for a big chunk of the game.

I think that we may end up meeting Don Jose on a Thursday evening around the months of Feb or March

When PSV wants to defend hard & deep they do it at maximum, they can cause trouble if they will come to Allianz to play for "not to lose" if they will set up as a typical Dutch team then it will be easy for Bayern but I watched them last year and now against Atletico and they set up a 5-man defense....

Hopefully we won't sit back and relax if and when we take the lead. Goal difference in the group will be a factor for determining who finishes first in the group if we beat Atletico 1-0 on the last group stage match.

One of their main midfielders is out for approximately a few weeks.

I don't understand why everyone(including board members, fans etc) are so obsessed to win the group stage, finishing first.
It's not certain that you'll draw a second tier team even if you finish first. For example last year we draw the most difficult team, Juventus.2013 we draw Arsenal, once Real Madrid draw United, Barca draw Manchester City & PSG teams that are very strong for that phase.

I mean it would be ideal to finish first at group stage, mathematically you have the upper hand to draw a second tier team and the benefit of the home return game it's not such a big deal for Bayern though, at the end of the day everyone wants to avoid us of course the possibility to clash with Barca or Real Madrid if we finish 2nd it's not ideal but if we really want to win the CL we'll have to face them at some point(Real Madrid's luck last year it's an exclusion) but I personally don't care so much about the 1st place, just to qualify convincigly and catch up our rythm at the same time.

*Groupe E & Group H are full of second tier teams too.
