Martinez and Bads can't compete for a spot against Boateng and Benatia. At the moment, both of them are well behind the latter 2.
Bads will be a good alternative though. I don't see Javi fitting in tbh, I'm not a big fan of him in defense and I just can't see him benching our starting midfielders.

PS. Kimmich and Benatia both played well after coming on. It's a shame Kimmich couldn't score his 1 on 1.

He's been fantastic so far next to Boateng, absolute force in the air and on the ground and a great passer
If you geniunly don't see that Benatia is twice the defender as Badstuber, you really need glasses.

I'll stick with Badsy, thanks... give him a break. I remember you to be one of them... also Benatia is getting his things packed from what we read.

Stick with who you want. I'm 100% sure at the end of the day it will be Martínez who's coming out on top and most definatly not instead of Thiago, Vidal or Alonso, unless all 3 pick up an injury.

Very unfair, some of you that critics Badstuber. Apart of the red card, Badstuber played well, considering that he was 7 months without play, and also that he receive an opportunity to start against a very tough team that are strong offensively. But of course, right now Benatia and Boateng are better players.

Olympiakos propose an offensive formation, a 4-3-3 that didn’t cause any problem to Bayern in the first half, also the lack of respect that Olympiakos had to Bayern offensive players, cost them 4 goals and could be more.

Thanks bayern for another spectacular win. =D>

I know it's never going to happen, but can you imagine a 100% healthy Bayern with Thiago, Götze, RIbery and Alaba back? =P~ =P~ =P~ =P~ =P~ =P~ =P~

Bad does not deserves this treatment...
I remember a witch hunt for those who used to be critical towards our wonder kid Goetze ... how can won criticize some one who is coming from a serious of injuries ?
Plus that was not a found neither a red card.
Badstuber over Benatia or together with Boa if possible.

Badstuber was never a great defender. Not even before his injuries. What makes him so valuable for this team are his long passes and his ball distribution.

He's still a good player, but after so many injuries I think we can't trust him as a first choice CB. I'd trust Martinez or Benatia more than him. Of course he is still very useful for this team and will have lots of playing time if he remains fit

Before that infamous injury his transfer value was popping up every day... with sides like Chelsea being interested in his services.
The difference between Badstuber and Benatia is... that one of them is underrated and always was...
I guess Hummels wasn't good enough until... nobody is good enough unless we're not linked with an overrated 60M defender.
Lucio was bad too... won the CL right after he left from here.
Eff Rudiger, Eff Mustafi when they cost like 10M, we want them when they cost around 50M, when Barca and other clubs get involved. We don't have the best policy for defenders...

We had Lucio, Demichelis and Van Buyten back then and it was him who wanted to leave after his loan in Dortmund. I think it's stupid to keep always reminding Hummels case.

We are not talking about selling Badstuber. :? We just say that Martinez or Benatia have played better than him.

No rush for Badstuber even though he's clearly far from first choice. He's got plenty of time if he stays fit, and tbh I wasn't exactly pinning my hopes on any titles on Badstuber. So give him the year to get fit and back in the run of things. But if Bayern want to survive Barca, the boys can't afford to make a single mistake.

You'd consider to sell him rather than "the twice as better defender"... Martinez has played better CB? Are you sure... check out the goals we conceded first and see how lost Javi looks as a CB.
Once we face stronger opposition that would come to light more unlike with teams that wouldn't win even if they scored their chances.
This wasn't as a stupid clear foul as Benatia's against Shitty... but he's still two classes above Badsy. :P
