I like that he said that. Spares Heynckes from having to do the pep-talk.

City is tied 0 - 0 against Everton @ home. Their attack is lousy even though they are playing with Džeko & Agüero. Full starting lineup including Nasri & Silva. Everton has parked the bus so to speak. The only thing lousier than the score line is Fellaini's hair. Tevez warming up and no injuries so far... #-o .

It's really annoying that City sucks like this because I once more made Agüero my fantasy captain (backed up by Dzeko and Silva). SO SCORE DAMMIT.

Well City wins 2-0 with goals from Balotelli and Milner. Saw the second half, where they were supposedly a lot better than the first half, and not impressed really. They were decent in their first half against Fulham too, but lately their form has been incredibly inconsistent. Not at all impossible that our game will be a game of two halves as well.

Balotelli played? I'm guessing they rested some players, or am I wrong?

Not really, Balotelli came on in the second half.

Yeah, took of Dzeko for him. He didn't have a good match, so I'm betting he is very motivated against us. Indeed, the main danger man, even more than Agüero, seeing as he knows Bayern and has scored against us earlier with a far weaker team behind him.

Their Main Danger man is David Silva
This guy is awesome and very near to Mesut Ozil IMO

Schweini and Gustavo or Tymo have the ability to make him disappear. Let's hope that will be the case Tuesday evening.

Our defense will have quite the task heading into this game. City will throw Dzeko, Agueor, Tevez, Silva, and Nasri at us. I think Dzeko and Aguero will be the toughest task.

I'm confident Schweinsteiger and Gustavo can handle the midfield but I don't know if our CB can handle such great strikers. They haven't really faced strikers with the quality of Aguero and Dzeko.

The Boateng-Badstuber partnership will face its toughest task on Tuesday.

One thing we should take advantage of is how attack minded City is, they will push a lot of guys forward leaving the back exposed. If we counter attack properly we'll score a lot of goals.

Gustavo surely does. Tymo is way too slow for that. Silva is very quick, moves all round the pitch & Tymo will not be able to keep pace with him. Same with Schweni, slightly slower & not a DM,he is our main CM & needs to create as much as defend.

Anyways City runs on David Silva completely like Real on Ozil. Gustavo is going to have a crucial game,he has the ability to mark someone out of the match.

I have good faith in Gustavo's ability to mark Silva out of the game. Certainly, I think Silva is City's main driving force and they tend to play badly and inconsistently when he is not at his best. For that reason, we need to ensure that he isn't allowed space and freedom to roam, as he is a very fast and creative player.

As for Gustavo, remember how well he marked Eto'o in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the UCL last year? Hopefully we'll see a repeat of that kind of performance from him.

And a great game by Gustavo will definately go a long ways toward the result being a positive one for Bayern. I just have a feeling that if Bayern have a decent day finishing their chances at goal that we will prevail in the match against City. Napoli showed that City can get caught out on the counter attack and get exploited and Bayern should look for those opportunities because they will arise during the course of the game. Make City work for every little pass and ball that they get and give them as little time on the ball as possible. Let Robbery work their magic out wide and Schweinsteiger, Muller and Gomez do the damage in the middle of the pitch.
