Hello everyone, I'm glad to see the sportsmanship that your fans have welcomed the draw against Juventus. we are honored to meet one of the four strongest teams in Europe (including us hope :D) and I'm sure we will see two beautiful games. I can't wait to see how it will behave our team, dealing with an organized team like us. good luck to you all .. you'll need to Turin.

I hope Robbed will be practising! He really could be the source of about ten goals a game if he was more accurate!

We obviously do have key players. You've alluded to that yourself.

I'd say Schweinsteiger and Ribery are pretty key on the evidence on the home leg against Arsenal.

The more I think about it, the more it seems that Juve's 3-5-2 could indeed play to our advantage (hence the possibility of them switching to a 4-3-3 - who's a reactive side now, huh!?). Considering Dante's excellent (and Boateng's occasionally brilliant, but generally horrid) distribution out the back, especially with the long passes, Juve's fullback situation could be exploited hugely by Müller's intelligence out wide. And then there's the question of who is going to mark our fullbacks in their (nominally) wingerless system, should they play deeper with their own wingbacks. Leaving Lahm free could mean a solid 3 goals for us already considering his assist record so far.

The one issue I have is that our passing through the middle might be a little less crisp with Martinez out. This fixture is going to be Kroos' defining moment, for better or worse - he failed horribly against Italy at the Euros, but that was without Onkel Jupp patting his awful haircut all the time. His form has been dropping alarmingly as of late, but considering his form at the start of the season, this is to be expected. He has two and a half weeks to get his shit together, and with the international break, I think he'll do fine. And don't think for once that I'm talking about how well he can mark Pirlo or other nonsense - the question is how well Pirlo can mark HIM.

I am worried about this 3-5-2 or any other non-common 4-2-3-1 formation where we have to play the second leg away. (Leverkusen's 'easy on the eye'/'heavy on the counter' 4-3-2-1 comes to mind for example.) It might take Bayern a game to get used to play against any non-common formation and I don't want that to be while away. I remember the same situation with Napoli last season. Had trouble at first, destroyed them in the second act. Just wished the second act was performed on a home theater.

Yeah, that second game was great - bar something that goes by the name of Jerome Boateng. It's good we have faced this type of formation before, making Jupp's preparation a bit easier. I just worry about Juve's wing-men. They are running beasts who can as well play as full-backs and double-team our wingers all game long. That's why it is so important for Kroos to bring the best out of him in this tie.

Everyone will have to play their best game, but more important than all the others will be Kroos and Gustavo, I think. Juve have one of the strongest midfields in Europe. Schweini, Kroos and Gustavo have to replicate the amazing partnership we saw against Real Madrid this season. I hope Gustavo starts playing regularly.

Hah, a healthy Martinez would mean a 3 goal win against Madrid this season. Everything outside their front 4 is a joke. I think we can completely suffocate them in a way Barca hasn't been able to because of the extra steel we have down the middle and an ability to play more long passes which makes a narrow defense pointless for Real. Juve is a different beast altogether.

Yeah, I guess Benzema/Higuain haven't really been in form either these days. CRITICISM ACCEPTED.

Not only that but stating that players like Alonso, Khedira, Ramos, Pepe, Varane or Cassillas are a joke? Come on, you are better than that.

Juve play some very physical football and im expecting a lot of hard tackles from Vidal and Lietchstiner. Wouldn't be surprised if multiple yellows are acquired by Juve midfielders...
