[2006-12-05] Bayern Munich vs Internazionale

Postby MUTU » Thu Nov 23, 2006 10:27 pm

Our last group stage match. With a win or a draw, Bayern will top the group. With a loss, Bayern will end up 2nd in the group but still qualify for the next round.

I think it’ll be a draw. We’ll be playing at home and hopefully will have found some solidity and Inter’s been gaining momentum, so it’s pretty evenly matched IMO. 2-2 anyone?

It's true that if bayern want a draw at home with inter what will happen in the round 16 and with maybe a powerhouse of europe. That's shamful attitude
If we want bayern to win the game prob. we would have to make opp. predictions.

1-1 or 0-0. Either way, I expect a draw, and I'd be very happy with one too.

I've noticed that too. I think it's because Rummenigge said that all they need is a draw and they expect that, and everyone feels that is how the team is going to play. They're playing only for a draw and not a win. If they play for a win and do win then they'll have some motivation on their side leading up to the next game in the CL.

This is when we fire up. Remember Beckenbauer saying we don't even stand a chance when we were playing them away? Our boys have seen tougher opposition, and at the end of the day it's not a tragedy either if we end up second in the group.

This is the first time I heard a Bayern supporter say that he hates Inter most of all :)

PS: our chairman used to play for them ;)

Mine are:

1) Any team from Italy :D Seriously, I don't like any of them.

2) Manchester United (though I do like C. Ronaldo. I don't care for how he acts up but he has some excellent movement with his feet).

3) Real Madrid

4) Most importantly....any team that beats Bayern.
