We will smoke them 20 to nil with Neuer having a hat trick of long range goals. Zürich are a bunch of lame ass amateurs who don't belong in football, and it will be such a walk in the park our u-19 team will kill them. Is that enough trash talk? I sure hope that will mean we destroy them

Swiss teams are much better in recent years..they are becoming stronger and stronger.

5 years ago you couldnt hear anything about the teams like Basel, Zurich, Young boys etc...but now they are around and it is not just a coincidence...they are investing in their football and it started to pay off.

Bild.de predicted lineup below. I find it strange that matchwinner Gustavo is to be left on the bench.

Well, if Jupp wants to keep Tymo from going to Makalakahackahcjlahlhcalhaclahcl6jclajla, then he has to give him a vote of confidence sooner or later.

Personally I'm happy with that, Tymo's a great passer. Though seeing Kroos get a go at the CM role against a bus-parker opponent would be nice too.
The ideal team

-Müller--Müller--Müller--Müller--
-------Müller---------Müller-------
----Müller----Müller----Müller----
---------------Müller---------------

Call me crazy if you like, but I would honestly have benched Schweinsteiger. Although I would also have played Kroos (Tymo-Kroos or Gustavo-Kroos)

Crazy... you asked for it! In games like this we will need Schweini's leadership skills. Besides he always seems to perform in CL matches. I would rather bench Mueller than Schweini if I have to play Kroos.

TBH he was the match winner with his goal, but until the last minute he was average...or Heyches will give Tymo one change. (or it is just that Bild is wrong :) )

I wouldn't bench either Schweini or Muller for Kroos :)

it's suicide from heynckess ! Gustavo is the best player in our lineup...he want to use Tymo ? then he can rest Muller ! and use an 4-3-2-1 formation

What Bayern NEED to do is make sure they don't become stationary.

If they keep their defensive shape and win the one and one battles, they should give up NO more than 1 goal.

BUT, we know that Zurich will continue the "standard approach against Bayern" by having most players behind the ball.

BAYERN NEED TO HAVE MORE MOVEMENT when they are in the offensive!!!!!!!! TOO LONG, have I seen them just stand there and pass to someone who runs a little and then pass and then stand around and pass and stand around.... etc...... ABSOLUTELY ABSURD way of playing. That has been the most frustrating part of watching them at the beginning of this season, and especially large chunks of last season.

I hate this slow paced, walking the ball to the other half.

THEY have to create the space! When teams are that defensive, rarely will there be one given to them!

WAKE UP GUYS!!! If not, YOU will be out of the Champions League before the group stage!

OR... Heynckes has realized that Schweini needs more of a free role and, consequently, the other CM needs to be someone more seasoned in playing a purely defensive role.

Well, I think Schweini needs 1 or 2 games on the bench. OF course, losing this game will have far greater consequences than losing a BL game, but this is one game where we should be able to win whether or not Schweini is playing, and missing this important game should have a better effect on Schweini.

It's a risk which could have very bad consequences, but I believe in our other players enough to be willing to take it.
