Maybe we play for the first time a real 4-3-3 and not 4-2-3-1, but I hope we can return to pre-Guardiola period and style. There's still a lot of work to do and to reach the 2012/2013 level of performance. I see some similarities already, but it's still too early to judge and say anything concrete.
So far we are doing great, especially when we take into consideration that we still haven't conceded a single goal what makes me really proud and I'm looking forward to see another breaking of a clean sheet record. Yes, that automatically means we are German champions for the 5th time in row.

Kimmich and Alaba are our bright future. If we could only find or develop that damn striker ala Ronaldo and Gerd and solve all our worries about the future.

I'm also looking forward to see how many injuries are about to occur this season after 3 years full of calvary and traumas.

A closer look at the things that still cause some trouble (crosses) and the two midfield highlight players (Thiago & Kimmich).

Thomas Müller: "Rostov parked the bus as expected, so we had to use the flanks. It was a pretty good display"

Not much to say about Kimmich that hasn't already been said, but damn Thiago bossed the midfield today, every time our tempo slowed a bit he kicked it up a notch. He's so much better when he gets to dictate play instead of Alonso

He bossed the midfield against weak opponents or in non-big important games.

When the Juve - Bayern or the Atletico - Bayern you will see what midfield he will boss...
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

I fully agree with you.

It's his 4th season at Bayern and still silence or weak sound what we can hear from him.
So far the two Spanish golden boys(Isco and Thiago) have failed to develop themselves into the integral players or at least one of the three leaders of their teams(including the Spain NT) while they were 3-4 years ago highlighted with Götze and Neymar as a top quality stuff in forthcoming years.
Thiago hasn't replaced Schweinsteiger and upgraded our game yet while we expected after the 1-2 seasons at Bayern to see this. The same thing was with Götze.

That all doesn't mean we don't need to respect Thiago, on the contrary... But we should take into the consideration that he is a foreigner and we can allow ourselves imaging the Spaniard's view of leaving Bayern if he asks for it and still seeing us dealing with it with no hard feelings.

On the other side, from Kimmich we know it's very likely to see him growing and growing from now on(praying for his health) and joining the Lahm, Müller, Alaba, Neuer, Boateng, Badstuber, i.e. sort of the group of loyal army who represents the club's ID and mentality and who will remain at Bayern till the end of their careers.

If it didn't work under Guardiola, let's believe that Ancelotti will figure out something with Thiago using his friendly approach with players and mix up something great of his talent and the strongest football qualities like he did with Andrea Pirlo at Milan.

I still have a little hope for Thiago.

We have saw last season, in the first part of the season, that he has something... but he is so unconsistant ... it's so frustrating.

If he plays many games like he did against Arsenal at home, Dortmund at home or Wolfsburg away next season ... he would be one of the 5 best MF in the world.
