Hi there! As I said before, I'm a Porto nut fan and also a fan of Bayern.

As a Porto fan, i can honestly say that yesterday was one of the worst nights of my life but it didn't stop me from being extremely proud of Porto. We all knew before that you were the big favorites for this UCL Quarter-finals. You're obviously better than us and there is no shame in acknowledging that.

Yesterday, you were the better team on the pitch, by a clear mile, and your clearly deserved that 6-1 result. Apart from Jackson, our two biggest players are Danilo and Alex Sandro, absent from yesterday's match. As I said in another football forum, these two players are the "lungs of the team" and this match would be funny to know if we could breathe without them. We couldn't. Your high pressure was too much for us to handle and the outcome was the expected after watching the first 15/20 minutes. Our team, inexplicably, got into the field like the game was already lost, too nervous and too scared, which isn't understandble since we won last week 3-1 and we had nothing to lose, specially when we all knew that you had the best players.

We were clearly better than you last week, you were clearly better than us yesterday. The problem is that the difference between the two teams yesterday was clearly bigger than the difference we saw last week. You deserve it.

As a Porto fan, i'm more sad than frustrated. Sad because a team that comes from Portugal doesn't have the same chance of winning the UCL as you guys. This was a one in a million opportunity. We put our hearts out, we cried, we laughed and above all, we supported our team despite what could happen. I don't know if you knew this, but after the game, at 3 a.m. in Porto, hundreds of people went to the airport to support our team. Because we are true fans, as you are, and we support our team no matter what. As we usually say (our motto):

SÓ ÉS DERROTADO QUANDO DESISTES DE LUTAR - "You only lose when you give up fighting"
QUEM TE AMA NÃO TE ABANDONA - "Who loves you doesn't give up on you"

Congrats, the best team went through. Hope to see you win that damn trophy!

Always FC Porto, whatever it may take, and whatever happens. And your motto, "Mia San Mia", it also fits us. Mia San Mia! Somos quem somos! :D

I forgot to say a few things. Unlike what many people thought, we put up a hell of a fight, despite yesterday's match. I think we did more than what was expected. We were able to score 4 goals to the best team in the world and there are few teams who can say the same. I'm certain that it was a surprise, even for you.

Go ahead Bayern! :)

He regained his commanding role in second half – a lot of gesticulations about tactics, change of positions so on, two moments when players showed some disregard to his orders – Muller and Lahm.

So you're basing that on Guardiola's side show reactions? If anything it debunks your assertions. We played wonderful in the second half. Why would the manager shout in the sidelines and motion to his players when everything was executed well? Apart from further instructions to Müller and Boateng in the sidelines, the only sideshow was Pep's ripped pants. Meanwhile, we were piss poor in the second half thus the manager naturally would be shouting instructions to the players when Porto clearly adjusted their game in the second half.

If Porto doesn't have to sell the gems they've been unearthing it would have been a strong club by now. But that's what happens when you have to make ends meet. You have a great coach, a beautiful stadium, great support, and an elite scouting network, success in the European stage again would not be far out if Porto can be more consistent in the next few years.

It's great to hear from you (unlike the other holier than thou bloke  ). And Porto has brought out one of the best performances of Bayern under Guardiola.

Great game. =D>

So when we play good players ignore coaches tactics and when players follow his tactic we play poorly. :?

Once i saw Estádio do Dragão in a list of the most difficult stadiums to play in Europe due to the atmosphere in the so called Big Matches. I think you agree now, don't you? :P

To be more consistent we had to be capable of keeping our best players. Can you imagine the team we could have? Oh lord. Helton, Danilo, Pepe, Otamendi, Alex Sandro, Casemiro, Moutinho, James, Hulk, Falcão, Jackson, Tello, Mangala, Oliver, Guarin, Quaresma, etc. We could easily be fighting every year for the UCL. But well, as you said, we have to make ends meet :(

That's what makes us different from other teams, each year we have to build a new squad and still be competitive in Europe, which isn't always easy. So i think that it's remarkable that we were able to win 4 International Cups since 2003 - Uefa cup, UCL, Europa League and Intercontinental Cup. Who knows, maybe in 10-years time we are there, at the final, crying like a little baby for having the opportunity to feel what i felt when i was at Gelsenkirchen, cheering for Porto :D

You would have been serious contenders for Europa League this year had you been there!
But..one problem with porto is that they are not good away from home!

Did anyone noticed Lahm shrugging off Pep in the second half? What was that about?

Three options:

1) Lahm was possessed by Jupp's spirit, said he was tired of Pep's BS tactics even though Lahm has been in love with Pep since day 1 (insert soon to be made sarcasm emoji here)
2) Lahm was uncomfortable having to look at Pep's firm thighs through the rip in the pants
3) Lahm had to rush off to play RB

I'm going for #1

I guess not even a sarcasm emoji transmits sarcasm very well.

For you it's sarcasm for others is reality. What makes you so sure that your point of view is correct and true one? And other possibilities are just garbage?
