To be honest there was a moment where Dante could've been yellow carded as well. We would have been in deep trouble if that happens.

As it stands I think I will only be concerned about Boateng's suspension if we face Madrid.

The game was good and all, but we will be getting some CB troubles in the coming KO game. With both Dante and Martinez a yellow away from suspension, coupled with DvB's freqquent injuries, we might get to the point of having no CB in the return game  Boateng made a strong case for those who support getting a CB this winter transfer window.

Back to the game, Shaqiri was amazing. I hope he also starts the next game. Contento was pretty decent too. Basti is dtill in bad form, though.

I would like to ask the admins not to post the chat logs from the game yesterday. Not a big deal, just some comments not particularly 'enlightening' during the game. Again, not a big deal. :P

After watching numerous replays of Boateng's red card I have to change my stance. His right foot looks to be on the ground and he barely made contact with the BATE player(can't remember who it was exactly) and also looked to get a foot on the ball. With that being said a red card was overly harsh given that it Jerome's first foul of the game.
Reggie Jackson (of the 1977 NY Yankees) when asked, "What's the biggest thing you've noticed (about the team) since being injured?" " The magnitude of ME!"
