Gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Uli if what is going on is true...

I dont know why would you be mad at Bayern, Götze is a punk and if I was Klopp I would not play him again this season. I know any player would have done the same as Gotze but he should have waited a little longer, Bayern are not running away. I feel the pain of Dortmund fans. :x

FC Bayern WorldWide (FCBWW)
No, ladies and gentlemen, you were NOT dreaming.

Yesterday, we witnessed the possibly strongest FC Bayern squad in history beat what was previously known as the best team in the world, Barcelona, 4:0. Their last 4:0 defeat was against Dynamo Kiev in 1997!

Chances of qualifying to the Champions League Final in London are HUGE and the Südkurve can't help but get a bit of a "holiday-feel" for the away match in Barcelona. There will be plenty of active supporters in Barcelona with numerous busses making the 20-hour trip!

Europapokal, Europapokal, Europapokal, EU-RO-PA-POKAL!

Everything's going perfect these days. =D> =D>

So anyway, the real question which we should be discussing as Bayern fans is: Would it have been any different yesterday if Pep had been in charge?

Because seriously, if he wants us to adopt Barca's style it doesn't really seem sensible.

He is part of this Bayern legend and he will stay here forever. I also dropped some tears when I saw his goal celebration yesterday

It was a very emotional moment for him.

I was SO happy for him! He really deserved that goal. Entire match he was fighting like a lion, shared fantastic balls to Lahm what has become his specialty. In defense also he was great where he dived into tackles to take the ball.

Too bad he can't retain his life shape from 09/10 and 10/11 where was quick like a thunder and goal scorer as the best striker. With that he would totally destroy Barcelona. :(

Look, Bayern dominated this match. No questions asked. Could you nitpick and believe one or two goals should not have stood, sure, if you have nothing better to do. I don't think Gomez was offside and the pick Muller set was cheeky, so I give him credit. I always hate how some people try to take away from a classy performance by looking at one or two things, when reality is Bayern was clearly the better team on the field, and the result showed that.

but someone noticed - ”Cruijff’s Ajax was able to adapt to conditions like the pitch, weather, or refereeing.” good point

The centre of the pitch was only clogged with water for like the first 15 minutes.

‏@wengerknowsbest

Barcelona will be very very low tonight. They did not see that coming. They thought Gerd Müller had retired. :D

@wengerknowsbest

The second leg is not beyond Barcelona. There is nothing a few offsides, some penalties and several red cards could not put right.

first READ my post and then reply!

Trust me, I did. "With decent referee, it’s 2-0 ..." You said clearly Barca was robbed by the referee. I think that is looking at the match with blinders on ... if I look at it with blinders on, it should have been 6-0, as two pretty clear handballs were missed in the area. That's my point, how you choose to see it often determines reality that's not reality. I think you are way off to say "with a decent referee, it's 2-0" ... just not true. "This is not the first time they (Barca) suffer injustice" is the most laughable part of your post, as I think the rest of the world would think the exact opposite. I on the other hand feel Barca was superior for years and that's why outsiders were frustrated about non-calls, and yesterday, Bayern was superior - by far - and the score proved that.

How do you know it was water? My sources tell me that Oliver Kahn was there after drinking ten pints of beer.
