The best thing about winning this half a season is that we managed to do it just using let's say 50% our potential... Imagine what we can do when we get at 100%... Opponents would die of fear.

Thanks Götze for a perfect prediction :)
It wasn't a great game but at least we won and some players had some rest for the latest games of the year like Xabi and Rafinha and others like Hojbjerg, Gaudino and Weiser had some minutes in UCL.

Sadly Manchester $hitty qualified

You weren't the only one. I was so close to swear everything in that situation.

I was even more crazy when Robben didn't want to shoot but to pass to Götze. Why the hell didn't he do that in one action before when he tried to score near post? Tsssssss... :)

But 3:0... Mate, don't say a word. I'm delighted to see that result when I look back on the entire match. We could have 1:1 in the first half, but luckily that Doumbia Super-G ended with bad finishing and 1:0 for Neuer in 1-on-1 situation.

A new duo: Fussballgott and Doctor. DocFussballgott

Fussballgott is really back. Rode is still on fire. Robben cutting inside. Bernat is flawless. Lewandowski missed sitters. Pep's surprise line-up. Another bus parked at Allianz. No Shaqiri. Neuer doing Neuer. Another win, just another matchday at Allianz Arena.

Despite the parked Russian double decker bus tonight, Bayern was able to find the entrance and notch in some goals despite Pep's rotation of the squad. Hojbjerg, Gaudino, and Weiser made the most of the minutes they were given. I especially liked Weiser's performance because he really gave that width and support in the right for Robben and enabled Rode to shift in the middle where he can make the most impact.

How's sitting on the bench feel like?
Alright!

Rafinha: wait... this might be my future in the foreseeable future... Rode is on fire.

Missed header by Doumbia
Thanks for the penalty. Muller Toooorrr!
Doumbia dribbled past Bayern, Super Neuer to the rescue!
Goetze 1v1.
Mr. Fancy shoots, saved.
Robben run and shoot. I hope Robben drifts more to the right. He's been trying to play in the left and his shots had been saved or went over so far. Mr. Cut inside needs to cut inside.
This time Mr. Cut inside tries on the right. Great dribble. Saved shot.
Obligatory Mr. Fancy missed sitter. Almost fancy goal but hits the post and cleared.
Keep calm, the Doctor is in. Rode Tooooorrr!!
Goetze and Robben 1-2 passing with CSKA player. GoetzeToooorrr!!!

Shaq wasnt there because he seemed to injure himself in the warm up with leistenprobleme :P

Lewa's ''sitter'' wasnt really a sitter, he did everything right, just that CSKA foot was in the way..

I'm really happy with Rode's performances recently. He is doing great no matter the position. I think, and hope, that he will get a lot more starts ahead of Rafinha from now on.

Still prefer him as a midfielder, but I think Pep knows best.
How did you rate Gaudino's, Højbjerg's and Weiser's performance?

Gaudino is very promising he looks confident but lacks that final touch. He needs more practice (loan move where he'll be in the 1st tm) and improve his strength.

He lacks physicality and that is something he can gain over the next few years. I think he has a very bright future if he sticks with us. We can loan him out, but I guess it would be better to monitor his physical growth till after next season to decide on what to do.

You've been to harsh on Gaudino - I don't agree, he is the new Pirlo :coffee:

I saw nothing special from him so far to be honest. He has some good passing and ball distribution, but other than that nothing much. He's slow, he's physically weak, he stays back and chickens out of doing tackles, his jumping is questionable. Maybe he's just young and timid and not fully grown up yet, but unless he becomes stronger and more determined I don't see him as Bayern material.
