Im usually not a fan of the Rafinha-Van Buyten duo but with Lahm in front of them it somehow helps stabilizing the backline because.. Well, it's Lahm and there's nothing he can't pull off defensively. Still i'd rather have Dante & Boateng together because CSKA has some decently pacy players up top so things may get tricky with that line up. Ultimately though, Bayern is a fee notches above them in class and that normally should be enough especially since Sammer just roared at the players earlier this week to avoid complacency.

It is not new, they did it sporadically under JH and it is happening in every game since PG took over, but you are right: there was a long run of minutes against Hannover when Muller stayed up wide with Robben tucked in cutting from one corner to the box to the other and Muller sending his low hard crosses and doing his trademark sprinting on the defenders’ back.

Agree, they will give us the ball and counter every time they have a chance and with Rafinha not being the best at timing the comebacks after he goes forward Van Buyten can be exposed to CSKA's faster frontline.

I do not know if it hold waters but the English commentator in the game vs Hannover said that fielding DVB was not a tactical change but that Dante has fallen in the pecking order due to execution of Pep's ideas on the field.

Well i still think Dante is better even if he has been in poor form but im surprised Kirchhoff hasnt been given a chance yet....

BILD says Schweinsteiger was training with the B team and Lahm was playing with the A team on the "6". And also Van Buyten and Boateng were playing together. Bild says Bayern will play the same line-up as on Saturday.

Pep has said Bastian Schweinsteiger Is Good and he can play today.

Now what to do with that prediction? Damn! #-o
The fear of that curse has gotten into me. I have suffered a lot last season. I'll probably keep my score.
