I really like this.
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

We can do it. It's just up to 1) all important players being on the pitch that day 2) players realizing that it is now or never and they have to give every last bit of strength they have inside them. Run for every ball, press like raging dogs, move all the time, go for the tackle as if your life depended on it and we WILL win. Play like pussies again and we will lose.

I like that there's no mention of Pep in this post. Leave it up to the players, if they push physically and mentally a tiny bit harder than during the first leg we definitely got this.

The coach still has to put all the important players on the pitch, of course... But the players are the ones who need to push.

I think some of the keys are

1- Support the players and the coach at least until the match is over. We all want the team to be in the final, so stop all the bullshit until the tie is over.
2- Early goal: Strong start and goal before the 15-20 min mark. That would rise our morale and the Allianz would be #12 player
3- Strong start =/= Full attack
4- Keep focused on set pieces. We don't want to give them easy goals and Atletico are pretty good on set pieces
I TRUST IN ARJEN ROBBEN

Potentially this could be our last CL game under Guardiola so just go all out for it. Coman can be subbed in followed by Alonso, and then a sneak attack sub by Robben. End game

Strong start = full atack ?

forget it m8,.... Pep already told they will have to be very patient, so dont expect a rush from start of the game. I would be happy actually if the result is still 0-0 in the 80 min....u know what happens after, no words needed.

All the support to the team. We can dwell on whatver issues later on, but now we need to focus on having the right mindset for this game, and that is to win in.

I fully believe in our team. Don't forget, this was atletico's FIRST good match VS a big team WHO IS NOT SPANISH. I'm pretty sure they'll shit themselves in Munich.

It's a legitimate question as some people use this forum to discuss team news and tactics, in addition to whining and public hissy fits.

Most importantly, not concede a goal in the first half in order to keep us alive.

I would drop RObert and start Muller.

Muller
Ribery-Thiago-Costa
Alonso-Vidal
Aaba-benatia-javi-lahm

I fully expect simeone to park the bus most of the game. Robert hasn't played well since that one game against schalke.....

Robert whoscored ratings in the month of April:

6.47
6.63
5.65
6.25
8.45 vs schalke
6.28
6.38

Alonso long range shooting and set peice ability will be crucial next Tuesday... But all depends on muller and benatia fitness level.

Doesn't matter. Anyone can look like a star as a CB in Atletico when having a buss in front of you. The only thing he'll be a threat on is during the corners.
