Another thing I enjoy about the 5 goals is that Cesh was the goalkeeper. Welcome again to Munich!

Other than that fantastic performance. Special mention to Thiago and Coman. =D>

Had the ref not called it a handball, I believe the outcome would have been much better for us than going down 2-0 right after.

Damn, I wish Robben scored his second after he left behind Cech...

I was very impressed by Thiagos defensive work yesterday, he singlehandedly broke up multiple chances that could have turned out pretty bad. And I specifically remember around the 75 minute mark a counter where Lahm got sucked into the center of the pitch and was for sure beaten on the outside unknowingly and then seeing Robben come flying into the frame and breaking up the attack. Very good defensive performances from our midfielders.

Robben has been like that since the last season under Jupp. His defensive attitude became much better after we finished second in all competitions.

That was great to see, the body language of a winner! I remember the 2012 DFB Pokal final in which we got battered in where during a Dortmund counterattack, Kroos and Schweini started out in the same place but only Schweini got back properly, Kroos was dilly-dallying about at jogging pace. Unfortunately that laziness cost us a goal.
The ideal team

This is the main reason of why Pep is using Alaba as CB frequently, because he has the speed for prevent the opponent to success in the counterattack.

But this is not a strategy that I like too much, because if the defenders are well positioning, they can prevent the counter, but seems that Pep has accepted that his style cant prevent the counterattacks, reason of why he is using the speed for defend this...

There were so many subplots that day that game could only be described as the footballjng version of Jerry McGuirre:

Robert to Thiago: You. Complete. Me.
Cech to Robben: You had me at hello. Literally.
Wenger to Özil: I said show me the money. Not the hand you idiot.
Kimmich
Kimmich - Thiago - Kimmich
Kimmich -- Kimmich
Kimmich -- Hummels -- Boa --Kimmich

I still can't get over that second Müller goal, Costa's burst of speed and that shot that curled just inside the post.
