I have heard something similar to this too many times. Miyaichi, Chamberlain, Walcott, Ramsey are once talented player, but failed to prove themselves. I really don't see anyone that will change this team

If Arsenal play like Wolfsburg did yesterday or like they did in 2013, we will concede within the first 10 minutes like last year. We've had plenty of games now, but still can't seem to be fully focused and concentrated from kick-off. This might become a real problem not only against Arsenal but also against most clubs making it to the quarter finals..
Maybe something like this is the way to go here

-------Martinez--Lahm---------
Alaba Dante Boateng Rafinha
------------Neuer---------------

...then sub early (50th-55th minute) and bring on an attacking player for Dante/Boateng/Martinez and continue with a single pivot (Lahm)

I read some stuff about Arsenal, apparently they are finally going to start spending big money on transfers. Ozil was just the beginning.

Regarding the match, I think Arsenal will play like they played at home in the first 15-20 minutes. If they score early this will be an interesting game. If they won't, they will get knocked-out surely.

Will Koscielny be fit for the match? He missed the match yesterday is why I ask, a real hamstring problem or just rest?
Reggie Jackson (of the 1977 NY Yankees) when asked, "What's the biggest thing you've noticed (about the team) since being injured?" " The magnitude of ME!"

One Arsenal fan said to me that Koscielny had a minor injury but should be available for Tuesday.

Bad omen for FC Bayern as Norwegian referee Svein Oddvar Moen was chosen as the referee for this match. He has refereed two matches so far involving German teams: Leverkusen's 7-1 loss to Barcelona in 2012 and Leverkusen' 5-0 loss to Man Utd in 2013. [source]

Should be a tight game. Arsenal aren't going to lay down. 2-1 Bayern. I just hope the game is played with the intentions of going forward. That pass pass pass shit is getting very boring to watch.

I just hope for an entertaining game. Arsenal will have an in-form striker so that should help them. I think they do have a very slight chance but they just have to be winning after first 45 minutes.

If they play like Wolfsburg our best bet would be tiring them out (like we did so several times with teams like that in the past), so we should try to hold on to the ball and move it as much as possible (like we usually do so).

Neuer - Alaba, Dante, Martinez, Rafinha - Lahm - Ribery, Thiago/Götze, Schweini, Robben - Müller, I think would be the most probable lineup, although it's hard to say, with Kroos usually playing well against Arsenal and Boateng pulling a decent performance against the Wolves. Guardiola has some tough choices to make...on the other hand he has plenty of different tactical options as well. The good thing is even if he screws up he can still make 2 subs like he did on the weekend.

Dante is a yellow away from suspension, I believe, so we might see Martinez-Boateng for this game.

Mate, how do you expect to line-up now that Wilshere is out as well? Do you think a pivot of Flamini and Arteta would do the job?

What scares me is the fact that you will go into the game without anything to lose, meaning you'd probably start attacking us right from the get go. I really hope we withstand the pressure during the first 10-15 minutes. If we manage that then I believe we can win, otherwise we might be looking at a repeat of last season. The defence, the whole squad actually, should be fully concentrated at all times and avoid brain-farts.

I agree we have nothing to lose but we will fight for some pride and try no to lose. We know its over for us. even by some miracle we do qualify we don't have the team to go all away. Hope no injures and a tie would do wonder for our season. The line up should be interesting. We must concentrate on the league and FA cup. cant really afford to lose players, we have Ramsey and Kallstrom coming back on the weekend.

It should be a great game, the Arsenal players will be up for the game. My prediction 2-2. :coffee:

I think that will be the case, especially since Martinez was given a couple of games to play there (plus with his NT) and get accustomed to the role.
