Once again we did not park the bus, just look at all the attacking players we had injured, they may not be big name players but they are huge loss for Arsenal. Is not in our DNA to park the bus, and having Giroud as striker is so depressing these days. We had 4 players from starting line up out and having Ozil and Cazrola starting at the same time is not a good idea, Cazorla does not make runs and Ozil is just not himself. With a top striker we would have really go all out attack, I am sure when the players look up and see Giroud they just dont want to bother attacking.
Gibbs (calf)
Kallstrom (back)
Ramsey (thigh)
Monreal (foot)
Wilshere (foot)
Ozil (hamstring)
Walcott (knee)
Diaby (knee)

Bendtner (?)

Two thoughts:

1) Nowhere does the banner say that "the guy" is Özil. Whoever made that assumption is the one being offensive to Özil.
2) How is calling them gay homophobic? The idea that being gay is somewhat inferior is homophobic. Who's to say it wasn't meant as a compliment? I'd assume it wasn't, but still doesn't it need to be proven somehow?

Good points by badger and q-dawg. If anything, Pep is demonstrating that he is certainly not a headless chicken. No need to take unnecessary risks when you already have a step on the next stage. We controlled the game and created the best chances. The only concern was seeing the team quite nervous for a few minutes after Arsenal scored.

Also, I'm not sold on Martinez being a CB and I still miss the beastly Schweinsteiger-Martinez double pivot in midfield.

Whatever, it's unfair that the club has to pay for it.

In the stadium, an Arsenal fan kept repeatedly making a Hitler salute and was arrested in the stadium. [source]

There's no talk about Arsenal getting fined for this. Why two weights and two measures? Shouldn't the 2 (?) individuals holding the banner have been likewise arrested, rather than Bayern being fined?

Mutu, it's completely unfair that the club gets fined for this, I agree, but there's not denying it's homophobic and those fans should've been kicked out of the stadium.

Apparently Robben's first claim for a penalty wasn't as clear-cut as I first thought. Seems like there was indeed something to it after all:

There was a faul there however after the contact Robben went down like he got electrecuted, his legs stopped working etc. Very unnatural fall.

And it was inside the box, so it was a penalty. In that case Bayern should have had 2 penalties awarded that weren't (foul on Lahm was clear).

Robben was certainly clipped on both occasions.
Second was a clear penalty. The ref was like 2 meters away.
Robben did make a bit much for the Cazorla clip.

As Poldi's goal, should never have stood. It was a clear foul.
But hey, we came out good so all's fine.
After all Mueller too had fouled Alba last year for Robben's goal against Barca.

Sometimes ref's ignore such fouls. :?

Agreed, but no complaints after Robben fell down. It's a ref's call. He could easily let the action going on, but he didn't and the ref pointed on white spot.
