[03-11-2009] Bayern - Bordeaux

Postby FCBayernMunchen » Mon Nov 02, 2009 8:50 am

Surprised no one has posted the thread yet...

Must-win for us definitely. I think LVG's fate depends on this game.

Without anyone of Robbery and if we play like Saturday's game LVG will return to Holland for sure :) (and we will go to UEFA Europa League :( ).

From one hand I would like to see LVG gone (I can't stand to see this boring way of possession football with all these very good players).
From the other hand as a Bayern fan I hope that we demolish them (a win with 2-3 goals will be great).

I think we will win the game on Tuesday. Its @ the Allianz and we simply cannot lose. I agree that if we do lose, Van Gaal is gonzo. Guys - if we lose and get sent to the Europa League - it's a blessing in disguise... Our board needs a wakeup call... They are cheap and very stupid at times... Time to spend some of that money theyve had sitting in the bank all these years collecting interest.

Being sent to Europa League could be a blessing. We know what happened last time we played in the UEFA Cup (Ribery, Toni, Klose). This time will be different though. It could be a blessing by getting rid of LVG, but as far as players are concerned, it would be the club's 2nd UEFA Cup/Europa League feature in just 4 years, and that's a big blow to our club's history. I think it's more likely we would lose players like Ribery and Robben, rather than get new ones. Money can make miracles... but I dunno...

I PRedict A Hard Earned 3-1 Win

With Butt Being Man of the match

Van Buyten and Muller will miss this game

So i think that We will paly the 4-4-2 Classic

I PREDICT

--------------------------------Butt------------
Lahm----Demichelis -----Badstuber--Braafheid
----------Van Bommel------Tymoschuk
Robben---------------------------Schweinsteiger
------Toni------------Gomez------

I think that Klose will play in Gomez's place. That would make more sense. Klose---Toni duo =D>

Everything luks great except for this:
I predict a Klose-Toni patnership with Gomez coming on for Klsoe in the 60th min.
I predict a narrow 2-1 victory!

Me too. BTW, wat will happen if we draw the match?
Will we be out of the CL knockout stage even if we get a draw?

If we draw, then we need to win in Italy (and in Alianz against Haifa) and possibly we'll need from Bordeaux to draw (at least) against Juve  ...
Even in that scenario, we'll end up 2nd, so we will play with a 1st one (Barcelona, Chelsea, ManU etc.).

If we want to make it to quarter-finals like last year, we need to make at least 7 points in the last 3 games (and hope that Bordeaux will lose some points).

I prefer to win the EL with a new coach and maybe some new players than be humillated by a great team and still with LVG. So I hope we lose or draw.. It will be for better.

Hello to everyone !

I'm really looking forward to this game, I think it is going to be quite tough, with you having to win, us not to loose, should be funny to watch. Anyway, my main worry is about Robben, not sure Chalmé can handle him. Going to be a good test for our right side !

Otherwise we won against Monaco which was 2nd before the game, on saturday, but Gourcuff and Chamakh hasn't been so good, hope they will come back at their top on tomorrow, we'll need them.

Bayern must win and i don't like to see Van Gal leave,he need time and we must admit that without Robbery our team don't look the same, some players can't step up and take tings in theyr hands, and Van Gal will be good just without Van Bomel in our team couse he treed him like a king, witch he don't deserve.
