I expect a tough game from the Italians(as usual)and hopefully Benatia doesnt get any nerves if he plays his former club.

As things stand now I think the max that bayern can take from this away match is just one point.
Roma's tactics have the perfect ingredients to destroy a team with our current tactics. Light quick counter attacks... 3passes and they are before our gk, high pressing in the opponent half, precise long balls... Aggressiveness.
I compare this match as a match vs a healthy BVB team of 3years ago...

I don't know... I was expecting us to get a beating against City, and then we won and played very well.

Anything can happens.

I think it will be a tough game but I'm expecting a narrow win or a tie. It will be a test though to see if Pep's changes this season can withstand the test after last season. We haven't conceded a goal since the transfer window closed but we haven't had robust competition yet. Obviously, he's not going to play 2 at the back against Roma and I expect Boateng to be back and Benatia to be more in-form.

We know that most of the players will be more rested after the international break, which is great for regular starters who have shown signs of fatigue and especially the internationally retired players. Plus Thiago should be back by then, which we should benefit from, if he can continue where he left off. I think (hope) that Pep has been grinding out results and putting Bayern on power-saving mode. I just hope the team is mentally ready more than anything.

Since we can expect them not to park the bus, I'm a little more optimistic since Bayern seems to have a tough time with buses. We have a great offence and if they can come back motivated and clinical, we can definitely win. The away It won't be an easy fight though, especially since it's an away game.

Roma won't stand a chance, mark my words.. All nice and fluffy that they have a nice run right now, but it will end against Bayern ;)

Our players certainly need to brace themselves for some hard tackles.

Personally I think this will be a game where we remind the world who we are, kind of like our away win vs City last year.

If Ribery plays, there's a possibility that he might bitch slap some Italian faces. I can bet on that. Rafinha should get a red if he plays this one. Alonso's yellow is a must...as usual.
