Arsenal F.C. vs Bayern Munich
Arsenal F.C. vs Bayern Munich
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Venue: Emirates Stadium, London

It's the Champions League knockout stage again and FC Bayern have drawn last season's opponents. Arsenal, who are currently top of the Premier League table, have improved on last season, and Bayern have generally struggled against English opposition. A hard match, but it's doable. After all, last time Bayern left London they were sporting a huge grin.

Previous encounters:
  • [2013-03-13] Bayern Munich 0 - 2 Arsenal F.C. (UEFA Champions League)
  • [2013-02-19] Arsenal F.C. 1 - 3 Bayern Munich (UEFA Champions League)

Arsenal will be nowhere near the top of the table by then and will be back in their usual position of scrapping for 4th place. And if Wenger doesn't strengthen their squad in January they could have big injury problems. 3-1 Bayern like the last two games Bayern have played here in England

Hello guys,

I just want to ask you how I can get tickets for this game ? I have never watch a live football game before, but I ll be in London to study by the time of this game. So I might not have the opportunity to watch a Bayern game live again in the foreseeable future

Any help will do

Thank you!!

The cheapest I am finding online are above 400$ is this logical :|

and I agree on what is said before, Arsenal's form will drop come the game time. Still tough games, but a win nevertheless 8)

A lot can change in three months but the teams we play before and after Bayern are just ridiculous.

Well we have a pretty nice record against Arsenal, for the superstitious ones. We've never lost on aggregate, and two times of the three we faced them, we ended up with the trophy in May. :)
We will rise again! (when we stop burying our heads in the sand)

I am quite happy now that we lost against $hitty. That means that the team will be 100% focused in both legs like Juve last season.

FC Bayern, Stern des Südens, du wirst niemals untergehn...

Mehmet Scholl once offered a mixtape CD to Oliver Kahn. Kahn replied: Do you want me to shoot myself? Keep your crap to yourself.

We sold Gervinho and bought Ozil, Ramsey is a beast. =D> Theo has matured, this will be a real CL game at home not like last time a friendly match for Bayern. There is no way you would repeat the score line from last year. This time we have a real LB and not Vermaelen playing LB.

I wont lie, when we finished second I wanted Bayern more than any other team. Nothing is better than facing the best team in the world and have 2 great games.

Just like there is no way that Arsenal will be taken lightly by Bayern like last year & allow them to have a game like they had at the Allianz arena. You may regret that wish of yours!

Well a lot can happen between now and February. In an ideal world that means robben and sweini are back and firing on all cylinders- robben especially if he is able to emulate the form he has been in since march.

Although that said, we do need sweini and Martinez as viable options, when we come up against teams like Arsenal, Madrid, Psg, I don't want rafinha on the field and thiago responsible for protecting that back line against top sides. We may have put man city to the sword at the etihad with lahm at DM but that performance was an exception to the norm.

After watching Arsenal a few times this season, last weekend especially, their vulnerabilities perhaps aren't too different to ours. Defensively speaking, I can't see Arsenal keeping out out Mandzukic, robbery goetze and mueller, especially as wenger would not Park the bus (which I respect)
