Should be a great test for both teams. I don't see Bayern losing. Wenger is one of the best managers in the world and as long as Pep plays a proper 4-2-3-1 they shouldn't have that much of a problem. Now if he plays 4-1-4-1 using Lahm in the middle and playing Rafina ( Still don't know why he plays ) Wenger will expose them. I know everyone has discussed the formation thing to death but remember the lost to Man City was no fluke. No matter what should be some great football.

Well we did beat Man C with Labm as the single pivot and Rafi as the RB so i wouldnt rule it out....

I think this would be our best formation against Arsenal..
Mandzukic (Gotze)

Ribéry - Muller - Robben

Schweinsteiger/Kroos - Martinez

Alaba - Boa - Dante - Lham

Playing Rafina as RB and Lham as DM with 4141 formation will be risky against Arsenal.

I say that now we shall stick to the 4-1-4-1 :pep: invented.
Wenger might find some more difficulties to counter our system since the 4-2-3-1 has already been exposed and tackled successfully by his team.

I just hope Martinez and Bastian will be both 100% .

IMO Martinez as CDM with Kroos and Basti behind Mandzu is the ideal team to face Arsenal. Thiago, Goetze I don't know...

Most people said the same thing vs Man C and Bayern still pounded them, i dont like seeing Lahm in the midfield but at the moment he has proven to be a better option than Schweinstiger and Martinez as the single pivot...

I think it is useless to predict formations now. Injuries apart, the winter break is a time for Pep to fine tune the team. Players like Martinez, for example, will finally have the time to get accustomed to the system and regain their place in the lineup. Although I want to see Martinez in the midfield badly, I think it was sensible for Pep to keep Lahm there for now. The fullbacks and the DM are two of the most important positions in our system. Messing around with them when things were working well enough would have been risky. Now, we have the time to do it safely, and come back out of the winter break stronger than before.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

I agree but we can clearly see that they struggle big time when the game is really hot like CL games and against the top top EPL teams.

The weather and the loss to Man city had a big effect on the players. Ramsey looks burned out tbh, we need to rotate more. We have not been playing well past few games but to say we have not played well against big teams is not right, we played well against, Napoli, Dortmund and Liverpool. Arsenal is Finlay a healthy team, in the next couple of weeks you can see the real Arsenal imo.

Ramsey is not the only one who looked burnt out in my opinion. Your team definitely needs a rest, Ozil mainly. You've got West Ham away next if I'm not mistaken so you might be able to rotate a bit. Hopefully Podolski can get some game time as well.

I believe he should be back next month, for sure by end of January.

Wenger said he will give Ozil and few other players rest. I am happy Podolski is back, we missed his goals. Giroud is hard to watch these days, would be nice to start Podolski.

Mesut Oezil has suffered a shoulder injury and missed today's narrow 1-0 victory over Newcastle. It is not yet know how long he will be out, but it's estimated that he may miss 2 or 3 more matches. [source]
