Arsenal F.C. vs Bayern Munich
Arsenal F.C. vs Bayern Munich
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Venue: Emirates Stadium, London

In the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, FC Bayern will face Arsenal F.C. The Londoners have signed former Bayern Munich attacker Lukas Podolski and will be looking to make the most of Bayern's personnel problems in defence as both Badstuber and Boateng will be missing through injury and suspension respectively.

If Arsenal dont get a solid DM i dont think their chances are to good. They may not even be able to exploit the weaknees in Bayern's did with DvB most likely playing that game. I think Lahm will have to be cautious when marking Walcott(if he still plays for Arsenal) cause his speed could catch anyone of guard.

Does anyone know which players are one yellow card away from suspension? I believe Schweinsteiger is one of them.

If Bayern wins with Arsenal Bundesliga will almost definitely jump into second place in 5-year UEFA ranking! I hope you will manage to advance.

I think its Schwein and Dante but i am not 100% sure. Bayern need to take control of this game from the start and not give Arsenal any thoughts of winning. Get as many away goals as possible to make sure the home let doesnt screw things up

I was looking at an Arsenal forum and most of them are pretty worried but they believe there team can win. One comment pissed me off making fun of Bayern's poor record vs AC Milan who they thrashed in the second leg but im sure Bayern can remind them why they havent won a trophy in who knows how long :P

Well you can't rule them out but I'm not worried at all.

Remember that just like we wanted to avoid Real Madrid, every second place team wanted to avoid us (and Barca).

Words cannot begin to describe how much fun Kroos, Martinez and Schweini are going to have with that laughable midfield of Arsenal's.

Same but im sure Javi Martinez will have something to say about his fellow Spanish international. Its still a long way from this fixture so no reason to worry too much. The January transfer window is coming up, Arsenal could find themselves some good players especially a better CF which would cause problems for any team if they did. Also we dont kno what injuries will occur last minute. Im hoping Robben and Gustavo will he back in time to be fit for this match.

Fast counters + Cazorla + Podolski usually having good games against us + first 15 minutes in England is what I fear the most

We should definitely start to perform well in CL away games if we want to reach the quarterfinals this year
