Maybe you need to give him time to adjust the style. France used him in the game against Germany and I don't think they took it lightly at all. But yes, i'm not surprised if Jupp keeps the same line up from the last match with only Alaba in for Rafinha.
Maybe. But right now he isn't cutting it, hence my comment.

Hopefully this game will just add into the momentum towards the PSG fixture...

If you watch at all our game under Jupp, every single game with Tolisso starter were difficult because there was a problem in midfield and in build-up. And I don't believe in accident.

Easy win against Freiburg : no Tolisso
Great win against Celtic : no Tolisso
Hard win against Hamburg : Tolisso starter
Awful win against RB Leipzig : Tolisso starter
Good win against RB Leipzig : no Tolisso
Hard win against Celtic : Tolisso starter
Great win against BVB : no Tolisso
Easy win against Augsburg : no Tolisso

Tolisso should not start any UCL game, even more when we have Martinez, Rudy, Vidal and Thiago.
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

Unless it'd be underwhelming like the home match. Scratch that, that was Ancelotti. THIS. IS. HEYNCKES!

Rudy and Tolisso on the pitch at the same time? I can't recall if we've tried that before or not.

If we win this match and then win the subsequent match 3-0, we will 100% top the group. In a best case scenario, 1-0 wins in both matches would be enough, but we'd need to rely on Celtic avoiding a loss against PSG.

Erm... No?!?

We will only top the group 100% if we win both matches and the PSG game by a difference of 4 goals...

Not necessarily ;)

In group stages, tiebreakers go as follow:
1. Points in head-to-head amongst tied teams (should we beat PSG, we'd both have 3 points apiece in the head-to-head)
2. Goal difference in head-to-head amongst tied teams (a 3-0 win would put us both at a +3 GD)
3. Total goals scored in head-to-head (again, would both be 3 goals scored)
4. Away goals scored in head-to-head (3 apiece)
5. Goal difference in all group matches
So........we just have to beat Anderlecht by a big enough margin to overtake PSG's goal differential lead. As it stands right now if PSG wins 1-0 vs Celtic we'd only have to beat Anderlecht 15-0 and PSG 3-0 to top the group. But technically it *is* possible to top group with a 3-0 win over PSG, just going to take a LOT more happening elsewhere for that to work.

Of course, if PSG by change drops points vs Celtic, margin of victory over PSG would put us on top, which I have to think is a marginally more feasible option hahaha.

Not sure about starting lineup with Ancelotti (99.9% sure Heynckes didn't do it) but they have been on the pitch at the same time before, though not for very long if I remember well. I think the pokal game vs Leipzig was one.

I'm against Tolisso starting in general but since this is the most useless game we'll have until Christmas it's a good one to give him a chance in.

I knew that... That’s why I didn’t say impossible... But 100% is 100%

I think our overall chances of winning this group are down to maybe 1%...

On the upside: they could face RM...

^ I think Alaba and Rafinha are being rested or at least that’s what transfermarkt has to say. Thomas should’ve been available but Jupp is not taking any chances with him. I think Muller will feature against Gladbach.

I believe Coman is injured. Transfermarkt says he has a tendon problem. I think that second lineup is more likely but I think Hummels will be rested or at least not start. He has played non-stop recently and even played in both friendly games for Germany. I think it will be Sule instead of Hummels.

EDIT: Personally I don’t think Robert should play this game.

They had to take a last minute decision on Coman. IIRC, Heynckes said that should Coman be declared fit, he would start the match. Regarding Suele for Hummels, you may be right, but I'm not sure that Heynckes would be prepared to rotate so much in defence.
