You are the only person in this forum that probably watches more games than most and complaints at the first chance of not having to SAP channels for a double dose of CL football.

but I might miss some 20-30 mins from a bayern match!

Considering UEFA's obsession with money and viewer numbers I think these early kick-offs will be reserved for smaller teams. That way, those who are still at work (in Malta we share a timezone with most European nations with big teams, and the English have it even worse) won't affect viewer numbers for the big games, but those who are free at that time will increase viewer numbers for the smaller games.

I think we should be careful about criticizing UEFA's attempt to increase CL revenue. The ECA lobbied their arses off to have more income to counter the PL rights stratospheric revenue.

I haven't seen the proposal but yes, Russian matches would probably make the bulk of those early kick off times plus some lower aggregate coefficient matches.

I think that at least each team will play a game or two in the early kick off.

Besiktas have forbidden their own fans from attending the game in Leipzig. Besiktas are still on probation because of violent fan excesses in an EL in Lyon in April. If something happens again, their next game will be behind closed doors. RB are using personalised tickets to prevent Besiktas fans from getting into the stadium.

You are not serious right? he had spine problems. don't know if he recovered but it is clearly not a weak mindset. Imagine he was in Gelsenkirchen, dived and scored that penalty and provoked Schalke fans afterwards. Gelsenkirchen is not bad at making noise at all.

So potential opponents: Man United, Roma, Barca, Man City, Besiktas, Spurs, Liverpool/Sevilla

Not too bad. Barca the team to avoid imo, and preferably we won't get City either. Spurs the other big danger. I'll take any of the others.

Definitely. In my opinion all these teams are better than Real, too. But some are obviously harder than others. (Edit: a better draw than Real, I mean)

Don't forget in the last 4/5 seasons we've only lost twice at home, both times vs Real. Tonight is a reminder we can do anything at home. It's become one of the hardest stadiums for teams to play in.
