I went watched most of yesterday's PSG game. Compared to ours vs Celtic and of course our first match with PSG. Of course they have a very strong attack, but they are beatable for sure. If we keep up our form and continue to improve we should beat them. It really is effectively the same formula we used to beat big teams in 2013. Their front 3 is ridiculous, but if we dominate the midfield we should be able to cut off their service and render them almost a non-factor. Their defense is NOT good and if our boys return to scoring form we'll be able to get the ball in the net a few times. It will be an interesting game for sure, but right now I'm much more confident.

Exactly. That's how you beat them. Deep line, prevent them from moving the ball through the midfield, win the ball back and counterattack.

Did Mou flirt with PSG a couple of days ago? Something along the lines 'come and get me'...

(22:29:34) FCBayernMunchen: ramsej probably believes Juve are going to score a winner now and be only 1 point behind Barca
(22:29:41) MUTU: is it just me or is this extremely boring for a Bayern CL match?
(22:29:48) MUTU: I'm more interested in this chat
(22:29:48) FCBayernMunchen: they will then beat Barca, and draw Bayern in the round of 16
(22:29:57) FCBayernMunchen: ramsej will then proceed to say that we stand no chance :P
(22:30:04) MUTU: and win the CL for the next 10 years
(22:30:18) FCBayernMunchen: and yes, i was quite bored today
(22:30:33) MUTU: and Italy will win the World Cup 2018 too

Were we correct ramsej?

Pretty sure we can still finish first....
If we win out vs Anderlecht and PSG we'll be level on points. First tiebreaker in UCL groups is points of course, second is head to head record, third is goal differential. We would be level on points, both have one win and one loss head to head...so it'd go to goal differential. Might need a bit of help but it's still possible

There's absolutely no way we'll overtake them on goals. However, i think what counts first is goal difference in head to head. In that case we need to win by 4.

We'll only overtake them if they drop points vs Celtic, realistically.

Are we actually talking about beating PSG by 4?? Guys: Jupp is a great coach - but no magician... They ARE the No. 1 contender this season... And by far have more quality in their squad... Face it...

Indeed. Points first, then head to head aggregate result and then goal difference.

So Bayern winning by 4 goals doesn't seem plausible and them dropping points vs Celtic at home even less so.

Dortmund should have an easy game at home against APOEL while RB Leipzig will face a tough challenge in Porto with Timo Werner on the bench

Hopefully Dortmund will take the 3 points and RB will escape with a draw. That would be good for both teams.
