Auba literally missed a last-second goal by hitting the post.

All of it...and realizing those shit plastic EPL fans will have bragging rights again soon.

Anyway...Dortmund, I didn't see the line-up, but I'm hearing lots of rotation in the squad? Possible reason for the bad result?

I don't like that they might be completely out of Europe by December. Gives them a small advantage in the Bundesliga.

It's embarrassing that a team that plays so well in Germany (because they play great football, it's not just about us sucking) plays so badly in the CL.
Came to say the same...
If BVB are out from Europe that can easily beat us domestically...

P.S Tott are so unlucky

How so... They will most likely go just as far in EL as we will in CL if not further... Plus they’ll always play on a Thursday... If anything, it’s an advantage

If they fail to beat Apoel again, they could very well finish 4th.

I honestly cannot see that happening unless they choose to do that in order to focus on BuLi. Dortmund will get points at home vs APOEL and Spurs.

So, I don't know how to read xG charts super well, but it looks like from the time APOEL scored up until the end of regulation they had a higher xG? Then it looks like Dortmund spiked with the clear chance they had in stoppage time (Auba/Bartra)?

Yes. Also look at the pass map. 73 percent possession with no end product. It's all pass, pass, pass at the back, with Aubameyang up front completely isolated.

That said, RBL should have won that higher. Completely outplayed Porto in the first half especially, but comical defending for the two goals against (one set piece, one long throw-in). What I find remarkable is that it was a completely different game compared to that against Dortmund, 60 percent possession against Porto compared to 34 against Dortmund, and yet they controlled both games for the most part of the game. They've definitely taken the next step, they're no longer just a pressing/counterattacking team.

I think Porto is really mediocre this year and that's why RB Leipzig looked that good in the first half. They were doing some good combinations though.

But their defense is fragile and I fear they might be thrashed by top teams.

Well, Porto are leading the table in Portugal and beat Monaco 3-0 in their own stadium. Of course they aren't a top top team, but nobody in their right mind is expecting Leipzig to challenge for the CL title in their first ever year playing European football, and their 2nd Bundesliga campaign.

Madrid and Sevilla competing who can deliver the most ridiculous final scores.

For some reason I thought it had been Monaco who defeated Porto 3-0 :-k

No, Monaco are last in the group table with 1 point.

But they can be that team that can make much damage to a top opponent, because they can counterattack with the speed of Werner.
