Real Madrid's midfield is really something. Casemiro is probably the best defensive midfielder right now. Kroos and Modric don't misplace passes and seem to find the front three with relative ease. As much as it pains me to accept this but Real Madrid are favorites in my book to do a hat trick of CLs next year.

EDIT: Also in Marcelo and Carvajal they have two excellent Fullbacks. Real Madrid are possibly the most complete team in Europe right now.

Watch them lift the CL trophy for the third consecutive time... it's possible.

Well, dog fits him well, given that dogs are referred to as man's best friend. Yesterday he was the linesman's best friend. Against Bayern he w.... OK, I'll stop, promise.

Honestly though it was a very close call and I did see a replay on ESPN which suggested that he just might have been marginally onside. Anyway I don't care. Both those teams are scum and United have their fair share of favorable offside calls too. The EFL Cup final against Southampton comes to mind.

I had a dream(nightmare) last night that Real Madrid become the first team to win three conservative European Cups in the CL era!

Serious question though.. Who can stop them? Just who? They seem invincible at the moment and step it up a notch when it really matters. Atletico are Real's bitch in the CL. Barcelona are weakened. Juventus were destroyed. PSG are good but Real Madrid can handle them. The English teams are poverty. Can Bayern be the team to stop them? I hope so.

Only PSG and us can stop them. Yet, PSG's defence is a big question mark and our problem is that we can't create quality chances even vs BVB. (take into consideration that we hardly created a quality chance except the one from Zagadou's place, who is a CB.)

if Coman can end up positions and James prove himself, we might have a great chance yet, it's a low possibility. in addition, Ribery is only a burden to us at highest level anymore. l hope our MGT and coach can accept this reality as soon as possible.

Yep, unfortunately it seems just a matter of time. The gap between them and the rest seems huge at the moment.

Hoffenheim vs. Liverpool shouldn't be happening on the qualifying stage

Well, Real are the best team right now, but that doesn't mean they are unbeatable

To win CL you need quality, but you need luck to be on your side too. Last year we were 1-0 + a penalty up against them, so even though they were the better team, things could've been completely different. And you have Celta de Vigo, who knocked them out of the Spanish Cup in a two legged tie

Away goals, referee decisions... You can be comfortably winning 2-0 at hom and then gift them an easy goal from a set piece that changes the whole thing.

They are the best team right now, but I'd be surprised if they win their third CL in a row.

What a pathetic penalty. Not even Mueller is capable of taking a penalty like that. :P

But still,Hoffe is the better team in the first half.

I was waiting to see where Serge is going to play, and i think he's going to be our backup striker for the future.
He's got exellent feel for the defenders and good first touch and with the magestic behind the back passes from James,i think these two can work very well together.
