Only a mentally fragile team like PSG could have squandered a 4-goal lead, Barça had a surge of pride, because this is a team composed of great champions, nevertheless. the level of play showed by Barcelona was not exceptional.

Anyhow it is easy to dismiss Marca as biased when in fact, at least on these specific situations, they use people like Oliver who is a freelance ex-referee who has made calls against Real Madrid before. That article was on their front page after the first leg vs Madrid back in 2012 and I quoted it here a looong time ago.

Without straying too far into an argument about the validity of Marca, if those two fouls occur to Bayern we would be screaming for penalty, every day every night. Just because it was for Barcelona doesn't make it disgusting, a disgrace to football or however bad people want to make it seem. Chill out people. The better team won. Hating on Barcelona is as flat and boring as it gets.

Lewandowski could have been red-carded for his stepping on Boateng and Dante should have seen the second yellow for his kung fu kick on Reus.

First one was a joke though...

The joke was the means he thought was OK to stop Reus with, while on a yellow card. He could have easily destroyed our quadruple with that one single rash decision. Luckily for us, the referee was lenient.

This is quite right. The first three goals, and the fifth, were basically "gifted" to them by PSG and some questionable decisions. Only the free kick (an amazing one btw) and the last goal were "earned". All in all, PSG didn't deserve to progress. They had a lowly attitude for most of the game. And when things went well for them after Cavani's goal, they shifted to the relaxed/complacent mode as witnessed by their missed chances up front to score a second. Barca basically conceded defeat after Cavani scored the 3-1, but somehow managed get back to life with Neymar's free kick, which was really the only thing meaningful they did after the 3-1. Barca and the Camp Nou faithful should be congratulated on their die-hard attitude and self-belief, but that victory was a lot more weighted on PSG's errors than them being "great".

While they're still riding their air of confidence? They're more dangerous now than in future.

I don't think so. Teams like Barca get more dangerous the closer they are to the trophy.

Also, when I changed my vote last night, only one other person voted Barca, but there are 4 now. Seems like many of us are thinking it's better to face them now (or not at all, but it doesn't look like anyone will do that job for us).

Every time Uefalona makes a remuntada they end up being eliminated in the S/F. It happened in 2000 and in 2013 ........

Can our players stop sucking up to Barca on social media bitte? I get the sentiment from a sportsmen perspective that you're impressed with the resilience and mental strenght. But FFS, a Barca or Real player would NEVER post a pic of the Bayern squad on their instagram page and say how impressed they were. It's a small team mentality....
She’s beauty, she’s grace, if u tell her she only watches football for the attractive players she’ll punch u in the face.
