PSG is trash, they didn't play at all. They deserved to lose. The referee was terrible and made wrong calls that helped Barcelona a lot. But the main culprit is PSG. At the start of the game PSG should have tried to score at least 2 goals to kill off Barcelona but they didn't, they played like cowards and without any fighting spirit, they deserved to be humiliated.

None of the two penalties called for Barcelona were correct and Mascherano confirms he fouled Di María for an uncalled penalty.

It was a disgrace of football, not an historic event.

Bayern vs Sevilla would be interesting. I don't want a game against teams we usually play against. However, at the end of the day I don't mind the opposition, what I care about is defeating them and going to the next stage of the competition.

Yes.

when you look at scores, it's a miracle, I mean, pure magic.
but if you watching the game, it is just shit. referee and uefa are on Barcelona's side, PSG intend to throw ( for money, don't tell me that their Arab boss don't like money, they are business man...). everything is set up and going as planned.
trust me.

Marca is a pro-Real Madrid paper and always has been, I wouldn't put much stock in what they say regarding Barcelona. First penalty was pretty clear to me, second was questionable but IMO the contact was definitely there. There's a case for calling it but I would have understood if the referee elected to not call it either. Still, you know guys like Neymar and Suarez are going to go down easy, PSG just made their job easier

Barca for me to be honest. I think they will be the toughest to beat after their historic night, so better take a shot at them now than later. They're probably the favorites now, eventhough they're not as scary as will be made to look by the media in the upcoming weeks. We could use that in our favor.

Well done to you. Your result got overshadowed by the Barca game but you had a very impressive second half. In the first half you struggled a bit.

They still lost 4-0.

Barca will be confident they can beat anyone but at the same time they might be overconfident. Let's not forget that we had a much bigger aggregate win without even playing at our best for all 180 minutes. It'll be much better to play them now than later.

I think Bayern is the team everyone wants to avoid, not Barca.

To be fair I think that works both ways. We did have a much bigger aggregate, but at the same time you do admit that we did so "without playing at our best for all 180 minutes". I think most of us would be willing to admit we were pretty poor in the first half of both Arsenal legs. Would a team like Barcelona be as forgiving as Arsenal were? I kinda doubt it.

Credit where credit is due--PSG were good in the first leg, but Barcelona also played their worst match in years in Paris....I don't think they'll turn in that poor a performance anytime soon.

IMO, if we put in a complete 90 minutes we can beat any team in the world....But if we can only come out and play decent in the second half, there are still plenty of teams that can give us trouble.

You're right but we didn't have a total collapse like Barca did in the first leg and despite the first half performance, our result was on par with recent ones. I've criticised Ancelotti a lot but it's clear that we're gradually improving. Best face the toughest teams now before we (maybe) lose form again.

Overall we are better than Barca but their forwards are unparalleled. Just a few weeks ago we were struggling to keep clean sheets. We now need to figure out our optimal defence because if we keep MSN out of the game half the job will be done. I think Vidal can keep Messi in his pocket like Schweinsteiger did in 2013.
