Both us and Real are a bit behind Barca these days. And nothing in the transfer market up to now suggests it will be different. Benitez could turn Real into a nasty, defending team and they might win that way but that's not really Madrid's way.

Other than that we might see a new team surprise us all. Chelsea, Dortmund, Atletico, Juve were not really seen as huge favourites but theall either won or came really close to it. Chelsea might do it again, they have rebuilt a great team. Not sure Juve can rebuild so well on the fly but we'll see. PSG might finally breakthrough this time around though.

No way, they are still rebuilding and I am sure the league will be their priority.

Madrid- new coach and a different style of play, they still have a hell of a squad but lack some depth in Central defense.

Barca- this transfer ban will hurt them a lot, and January transfer have a history of failing. Not to mention its incredibly hard to retain the UCL

Chelsea-they are going to want to do better, Mourinho has a ton of experience with the UCL. Although they have some weaknesses with their consistency within their subs

Man city- they're to good to ignore, but they really dont have enough experience in the UCL. They always fall to to early in the competition too.

Athletico- They will need some more time i think, they are kind of rebuilding right now and have a lot of new players.

Arsenal-They're looking really good, I would't be surprised to see them run to the Semi's, but more realistically the Quarters.

Juve- Not a huge threat this year, they lost to much of what made them so good.

PSG- They look really solid, but a it over hyped. If they get Di Maria then they'll probably be a huge threat.....but they have Blanc who seems to screw them a lot. I am not entirely sure how the players will mesh together. Di Maria didn't adapt to Man UTD for a reason, it was part LVG but he could've done more with what he had.

Bayern!!!!!!! we have definitely become stronger, added some youth and our already existing youth are poised to break through! The wing's seems like they still need to be addressed, although if we sign someone like Anderson we might be in perfect shape. As every year the biggest thing for us is staying fit. With a bigger squad of better players we might be able to stay fit longer

At the moment, I see us doing very well!!

Manchester City is the single most overrated team in the world. Nothing special at all. Wish we hadn't GIFTED them that win last year, which their defenders keep bringing up.

Barca are still the team to beat. EPL teams might be more dangerous this year, but I don't think they are ready yet to disrupt the trio of Bayern, Barca and Real Madrid.

Arsenal? They only added Cech to their squad. What's that spectacular about them? They always start strong, but then they go 100 to 0 really quick. They lack both squad depth and brilliance.
It's between Bayern and Barcelona this year. Again. Say what you want about how hard it is to retain the UCL, but they still got that freaking sensational attack. I see them reaching the final again this year.

Arsenal is a top quality striker away from being the real deal. They have tactical options and decent enough squad depth. Should they get that striker they're missing, then they'll have the ability to go as far as Chelski in the CL.

City though... don't make me laugh. Unbalanced squad without a clear philosophy and one of the biggest charlatans in the modern game in Joe Hart.

Yeah, Arsenal's Irregular upswings seem to be aligned for more than a FA Cup this season, if they can get their RvP back.

haha well we played like crap that game.....I remember getting so frustrated over how we kept the ball and couldn't get it in the box with mediocre defenders from City.

Never said it won't happen but it is really hard. Look at the past, hasn't happened, ever.

Only PSG have a realistic chance of threatening us and the Spanish teams. Others might do it but it would be surprising and unpredictable.
