Oblak always wanted to protect his center and looking to go through his right side, the same side where muller shoot and missed his penalty, but Real Madrid shoot all their kicks to the left side of Oblak, where he never tried to go...

I thought penalties could have advantage Atletico in the goalkeeper position because Oblak and Burgos (the assistant coach), but unfortunately they study wrong the opposite strategy.

I saw this last night and couldn't even process why he was doing that

But yeah I didn't like last night's game. Apart from a few plays, it felt kinda dull, maybe it's just cause I didn't have a horse in the running. I did feel anger at the fact that Atleti played so badly in the first half. They knocked us out just to put in that performance? Luckily they played better in the second half.

Still unhappy with how everything turned out but all we can do know is look to the future for more football and more excitement, because it's certainly in the cards.

No clue. Maybe because of his performance or they think he's leaving?

It might just be that he was invisible the entire match, then scores a penalty on a goalkeeper who was on the wrong wavelength the whole time and then acts like he won them the match.

At the very least, it was a better reaction than what he did when they won it in 2014.

Casemiro is an awesome player... extremely good defensively.
Simeone said that he'd be the key for RM's success and he delivered a great performance.

Oblak did the same antics against PSV and Atletico would have been OUT of the CL if that PSV player didnt crushed the bar.

Probably Barcelona would have won the CL if that happened.

Dunno that, but I did expected Real to win on penalties because of Oblak's "goalkeeping" against PSV. He will never be a world class goalkeeper with that kind of penalty "saving" ability.

Absolutely awful both yesterday and against PSV, I still cant believe Muller failed. It bothers me even more than Robben's misses.
