Yes, especially in midfield, it's really cool. Pity you can't say the same thing about the defence though. I wouldn't have minded seeing Lahm as LB and Rafinha as RB for a change.

Yeah, I was thinking that.

I can see the need for playing a left footed left back... but Lahm is solid there, and Rafinha is competent at RB. So I'd liked to have seen that. But consistency is also good!

So, even Commodore is able to criticize his beloved FC Bayern.

Not impressed by our performance so far. Bremen is pressing well, and we let ourselves get disrupted by that too much, then trying long balls that lack any concept whatsoever.

Would like to see Martínez soon.

Hehe....it's not a sin to apologise :)

We lost more challenges than usual. Hopefully we will be stronger in the second half.

Rafinha is a RWB, he's not quite a RM/RAM/RW, but also far too attacking to be a proper RB, he needs the safety of 3 centre backs behind him, but 5-backs aren't common nowadays, are they? Only Italy (sometimes, while experimenting) and OCCASIONALLY Napoli use the 5 back, not many more really.
Besides? Why do we need a left-footed LB when you have this gem...:
on you?
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Schweini off, Martinez on... It's been a weird game.

First half was awful. Second half been a lot better, but still even.

This could go either way.

Well that's that then. Big props to the team, they kept fighting to the end and deserved the 3 points.

*awaits to be proven wrong as Boateng scores three own goals*

The main difference from this season and last. This was a game we would have dropped points (like 'Gladbach, Mainz, Freiburg etc).

But having the likes of Shaqiri and Mandzukic to bring on won us the game.

The likes of Robben and Gomez will need to work hard to get back into this team. I hope Shaqiri gets a more regular chance of starting games,

Mueller - Shaqiri - Ribery

This looked good together. A lot of understanding there already and a lot more cohesive than when Robben is there. I feel Shaqiri is far more natural in that middle position than Kroos.

Yeah, Jupp really got his subs right today. I mean, I'm not saying Schweini was poor, but once Martinez was on, we were a lot calmer in midfield. And the second goal was all the subs doing (well that and Bremen rushing forward for an equalizer).
