The players did enough, and maybe a little more... we should've had a penalty awarded and Bremen deserved to finish the match with 10 men. It's never easy to beat a team comfortably after having beaten them 6-0 in the same season due to overconfidence. They can't all be dominant performances and/or humiliating scorelines.

I don't think it's a matter of being spoiled. We have an A1 squad. Bremen is a relegation contender. It's not just that we didn't put a convincing display today, it's that we haven't put a convincing display apart from Leipzig in quite a while.

In the meantime, we now have 8 wins in a row across all competitions, or 11 wins in a row if you want to count friendlies as well. All's not rosy with our performances, true, but we're getting the results at the end of the 90 minutes, and that's what matters.

Six points, two wins in Bundes after the winter break and yet - some here are acting like we are doomed
If you all are expecting a 0-6 performance just before a more important game against Schalke and in the upcoming CL game... than its your problem.

I KNEW that this will be a not-so-pretty game. I knew it. Even in my betting ticket I was thinking hard if I should bet that 3+ goals will be scored in the whole game (total from both teams). In the end I opted for a 2-2 (Bayern leading on HT and Bayern winning at the end).

But I'm realistic and I see things from another aspect, not your usual "Oh we are Bayern, we must hammer the likes of Bremen, Freiburg every time we meet". Open your eyes and shut your fan attitude sometimes! You should keep that fan attitude in the CL. Do you want me to bring up how many ugly Bundes games Bayern won under Jupp and how they were won? League titles are WON in this way.

And stop adding CL and Arsenal in this topic - its atrocious. Its not even the same competition, same attitude, same emotion, same game spirit, NOTHING is the same.

Are you guys forgetting that we only beat them 1-0 away last season? Silly Müller goal was all we got back then. Also, Bremen improved after we played them, not only in tactics but also in personel (Kruse and Pizza were out injured last time, anf Gnabry wasn't even there yet). Don't forget how much trouble Dortmund had with 10 men Bremen last week.

Yes they are "just" Bremen, but that doesn't mean we'll always have a walkover.

The score doesn't matter as much as the performance in the second half. Bayern allowed them too many chances that a better team will take an advantage.

And Ancelotti speciality is also to wait a possession team to use counter attacks. Like he did with Real against Bayern or with PSG against Barcelona.

Now he tries to be like Pep and it's not working until now.

Yes you're right from Bremen. But for the others ?

At the same periode with Guardiola last season (august to january):

5-0 against HSV
3-0 against Leverkusen
5-1 against Wolfsburg
3-0 against Mainz
5-1 against BVB
4-0 against Köln
4-0 against Stuttgart
3-1 against Schalke
5-1 against Arsenal

The most important thing is to know if the best of Bayern come against ,Schalke, Wolfsburg, Arsenal, Berlin, Arsenal, Frankfurt, Hoffenheim, Dortmund and Leverkusen (10 of our next 15 games btw) or not.

And when I see the current Bayern, I have some doubt about it. Still, I also have hopes :

- what Ancelotti said since the start of the season (his goal is to reach the peak of level in april/may)
- the game against Leipzig or the return game against Atletico

We'll quickly see if the players keep their strenghts for the decisive period or not.

You got it wrong there...

Ancelotti just maintains Guardiola's tactics with small changes but you can definitely see that Pep's 4-3-3 or any other formation doesn't have the same usage from Ancelotti we're much straight forward on the ball. I don't say that this is better or worse nor that we are far better(clearly we're not) but he ain't trying to emulate Guardiola actually months before he said that we won't change much but he is changing things bit by bit, very slowly!

He is that type of manager,he doesn't like overhauls, his job is mostly on the training camp and players job is on the pitch that's way he lets them to take decisions at their own on the pitch. If Guardiola could have a joystick to play a virtual playstation he would be the happiest man in earth. It's just that they are so different characters and managers. It's up to you(or teams results) to judge which approach is better.

I'm persuaded that next year we will be a completely different team but for now I don't think that our efforts can make things happen, with our current performances every trophy is at stake while in our biggest tests(BVB,Atletico away,Leipzig) we have one win! These are the facts, future games and form are just speculations. I don't mind thrashing every weak team in the league while abroad they are making fun of me.
The games against Arsenal will say much more to me than any league game, these games will be our statement to see where we at
