Yeah, Neuer had more job to do than vs City .... it's the first time in the last 11 matches that our defense looks shaky. I wish Rafinha was on the bench tbh.

Robben is warming up - probably for the 2nd half.

Mr.S wrote:Bastuber is not starting either as is Robben. Heyneckes says the side is complete & winning & he does not want to break it. I am seriously pissed off.

Heyches only said about Robben that he comes from injury and he is not 100% ready yet, something that is understandable. Anyway he changed the 11 (Badstuber - Tymo in).

A momentarily sleeping from DvB.... Holger bailed him out brilliantly....

Our team is not defending nor attacking as a unit!

Our players seem to have visited the Oktoberfest before leaving for Hoffenheim...

Where is Kroos ??????????? The way Hoffenheim are pressing clearly shows the uselessness of deploying Kroos as CAM....

1st half was just painfull to watch...no connection between defense and attack.
Tymoschuk has nothing to offer...Schweini is doing everything by himself. I think that Kroos should help more in building up play as he is also invisible. Ribery cant do anything by himself as he has little help by our midfield.

And the worst thing is that we could handle the midfield against Man City and we are getting killed in midfield from mighty Hoffenheim:)

I say we should put in Gustavo and Robben instead of Tymo and Kroos.

We are getting killed out there:)...we have no widht as it is really silly to watch they are using flanks against us and it is working for them...While shutting our attacks through flanks quite good.

Some good saves by Neuer I must say.

Heynckes is rotating the wrong players , the likes of Ribery and Schweini , Muller , Kroos are playing every minute without any rotation , and the he Re rotates Gustavo and Tymo who are already resting and not that tired

Tiredness usually takes its toll in the 2nd half... What we've seen is more a result of our players still living in the aftermath of mid-week game.... It was more a mental thing IMO....

BTW.... Hoffenheim have a lot of players in the middle.... and they've covered Ribery in the left too....
The way I see it, we should make better use of our right side (their left) where Braafheid is playing.... It's a shame we don''t have Radinha today... (why???)

I saw the last 25 minutes & we got owned. Tymo could have been red-carded,that was a horrible full studs up challenge. Tymo has been pathetic so far, making horrible passes.

That & DVB gave a a clear penalty which was denied. We should have been 0-1 down. Also fantastic game so far from Neuer, very impressed. He is gonna dominate the GK position & will be No. 1 for a long long time to come.

This & I would say Braafheid has done a manageable job. Failure of Muller to do anything.

Beck has been amazing & should get a German NT call. He has been very good. I am still not sold on the Ribery hype. Against great Full-backs he is nowhere near one of the best in the world. Richards is nothing special in defending.

I'm not sure if it is complacency or fatigue, but either one should be remedied by a dose of Arjen Robben.
The ideal team

Gomez is also quite anonymous...like all of our attacking players...Robben should fix that problem I believe.

And Gustavo needs to step in as Tymo will get red card soon if he continues to play like that...he is late on every challange and he is missplacing important passes.
