It would probably affect his confidence, but Götze should go out for Müller

Rode could also go out.

Amazing how Costa always gets the loose balls because of his acceleration, BTW!

Edit: ok, Rode just made himself essential. Hahahah

Who needs Götze when we have superCAM Rode?
An assist and a goal in a matter of a minute.

Rode for false nine! Great turn for the second goal, though I almost thought he screwed up the cross. great goal for the third.

Wow what a feeling watching our #8JM running again clad in FCB red:smile:
Super goal by Vidal
I liked Kimmich contribution a lot.
What about Dr.Rode? We shall give him a contract for life...
Coman did well too - gut gemacht
Costa did what was expected from him - very good
Now we are all waiting a sweet revenge on the foxes:twisted:

It was great to see Pep put trust in fielding such a young team today, all those youngsters especially Coman making a name for themselves today.

Götze will deservedly find himself on the bench against WOB if Lewandowski is fit.

MOTM for me was Costa. Great dribbling, recuperation of loose balls and a couple of key passes/ assists.

I disagree with you...

Rode was the MOTM. The was really lovely today, assisted and scored. Vidal and Kimmich were massive as well...

But Costa was pretty good.

I thought it was Costa the one who played the through ball for Rode's goal. It was actually Alaba. I was surprised when I thought it was Costa because it was a high quality through ball and i didn't think Costa played that way (knowing it was David, it makes much more sense).

always fun to see some of the backups and younger guys get the start in a game like that.... I was happy to see Lahm rested as I didnt think Pep would do it.... with the depth on this team, guys like Lahm, Robben, Alonso shouldnt be starting these kind of games after playing on Wednesday

Gotze didnt have a great game, but again, he wasnt playing to his ideal strengths..... he's at his best when he's paired with one of Lewandowski or Muller centrally

good to see Vidal score a goal.... he was due

Coman continues to show excellent skill and potential

Rode was fantastic today

it was great to see Javi get a run out there.... but you can tell he's still a ways away to getting back to where he was.... hopefully he can stay healthy in training, give some 2nd half substitute shifts over the first half of the season, and hopefully he'll be getting back to himself physically over the 2nd half of the season..... but today was a great first step
