He's not that type of guy If it were Mourinho he could have done it but i doubt Heynckes would.

Most people on this world today just think on Champions League. But nobody doesn't think on national league. Now we can see how Louis van Gaal has underestimated the Bundesliga. We just thought after last year only on CL, results are just 'beautlful'. I as a fan don't care too much about CL money and profit, I just want football. I love Bundesliga more than CL and nothing won't change this my opinion. I want every year a trophy in Germany and then we can talk about Europe. If Bayern is going to play in EL, then it's going to be that so.
This competition is also cool, but not so profitable as CL, thats the main problem for every big team. Those stories about big teams and similar, those are empty stories. Money is a problem for everyone!
Just imagine what would happen to rest of the clubs who are playing every season this competiton that it has same or close profitability as CL??? No one would complain on EL & everything would be different on european map.

So, I don't see any problems. I can just say... Problems are coming in Bundesliga and national leagues, not in CL. And the money, Real, Barcelona, ManU, Lyon... I don't care.

To rub salt into the wound, Arjen Robben saw a straight red card for dissent after the final whistle and will now miss at least two matches with suspension.

I don't want to play EL, but at least if we play in it we might finally win a European competition. There is a bright side to it too. I know you're all dreaming of winning the CL, but we're not capable of doing that, yet.

in that years it was called Uefa cup, and it was great competition,
but after Platini start with new rules it start to be very bad

And the last time we didn't qualify for the CL, it also proved to be a turning point which very nearly brought us the treble last year. We wouldn't have gotten Ribery, Klose, Toni, Altintop and later Robben and Olic if it hadn't been for that year when we didn't qualify for the CL, and the disappointing season two years later. If we had played the 2007/08 CL we would probably still have Pizarro in our squad.
