Lewy hit the post fifteen minutes in and he managed to mount two attacks during 90 mins of play. One of them not even that.

He got kicked out of the CL like a schoolboy without homework.

I think the smirk might just be a bit premature.

Two home games w/o Ronaldo and two loses, four points lost, without goals from Benzema nor Bale against Valencia or Levante. The Cristianodependency is upon us.

I don't think it is that simple. . .

You are missing the point. We are not debating results but how the team plays. RM in general so far this season still looks good with or without CR7 who for the most part has become a poacher. They have not lost and we have WITH Lewandowski. It is that simple.
Where is our Asensio? That's the point.

I think it is critical the management also address this problem. We might have ruined one of Europe's brightest prospect in 1 year, and almost everyone in the squad regressed. Is it the problem with the Scouting Department?

It isn't being addressed. What will be our chances to win anything if Lewandowski suffers a long term injury?
At the same time, as long as we do not have a established dominant deep midfield our offensive problems won't be addressed even if we find an Asensio, he either will be on the bench since we still be depending too much on the miracle produced by one of our aged stars or he will be spending too much time helping on defense and build-up play.

It's unfortunate that Vidal returned late because, given he can't play tomorrow in the Champions League, he'd have been a surefire bet to start against Hoffenheim.

Can't play UCL? Why?

Alright - but how would that have helped us? While Vidal is good - he's more of a destroyer than a playmaker... And even though it was not good - defense was not our main problem...

I'm talking more about giving a rest to players like Rudy in view of the CL match rather than saving the Hoffenheim result.

If we can't beat Anderlecht in our home turf we should disband the club anyways...

Also, the game vs Levante was not a typical game: RM had 17 players coming from International duty, you may say that we had quite a few as well but I hope you watched the game you are referring to: Besides the fact that Benz was forced out injured and RM did not play their best game they generated so many chances that you will lose count, compare that to our chances (were there any?) vs Hoff. Bale alone missed like 4 or 5 sitters. Below are the extended highlights for your viewing pleasure: pay attention to our own Toni Kroos with a couple of trademark shots, one in min.7 and the second in min 11:30 hitting the post. I know you will enjoy it  .
