So this is the "Thiago isn't an alternative to Müller. They can play together" thing ?

**** shame if it's that.

Müller saw as #9 or #10 back-up. Shame.
For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Tolisso) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

I agree that #9 needs a rest , but so do Alonso and Robben

Kicker went to hard, I think we gonna rotate 3 to 5 players!
- - - - Neuer - - -
Raf-Javi-Hummels-Bernat
Kimmich - Vidal - Thiago
Coman -- Muller-- Costa

@Coman
Take a breath pal,
you're questioning Ancelotti even when he needs to go to the WC and say that it's not the right time to take a piss, c'mon relax and for once enjoy the game, you seem so frustrated like everything is a disaster. We have a world class coach with his advantages & disadvantages like everybody else but you and many others are behaving towards Ancelotti like he is.. Markus Babel.

I talk about differential treatment.

There was a topic about how, here on this forum, people seems to be different about german players and non-german (spanish ?) player.

Me, the only thing I see for month is the exact opposite from Ancelotti : Alonso (non-german player) is playing all the time, every big games while he is average or bad 75% of the game.

And that a Müller, who isn't really weaker that Alonso this season, has to be on the bench every big games and be starter to play at a position which isn't his favorite one.

Harder for Müller to show his quality when he has to play all the "shitty game" at his wrong spot while Alonso always play at his favorite position in big game where all the team give his best.

Coman, everybody agrees with you on Thomas and Alonso. Chill out. No need to go into full rage every game anymore.

Starting to feel a little sad for Sanches. Hopefully with Alonso's and Lahms' retirement he'll break through next season...

I wonder how Ancelotti expects Renato to shine when all he gives him are 10-15 minutes in the stage of the game where, usually, the team walks on the pitch.

Alonso's absence doesn't help Sanches much as he's more of a classical box to box midfielder, not a deep-lying playmaker (or regista) which is what Alonso is. That's why you don't see players like Sanches and Javi Martinez (and in the past Schweinsteiger) replacing Alonso on the pitch. Kimmich and Thiago could be better Alonso replacements although Kimmich (like Vidal) can also play in other positions as well.

I kind of feel bad for Sanches, he could start some games replacing Vidal as Vidal can also play in other positions or could be rested once in a while.

When Vidal isn't there Sanches doesn't play neither.

Actually, Sanches played his best game next to Vidal against Atletico...

Ancelotti is completly absurd with the boy for months..
