Oh look he doesn't like Neuer, isn't that shocking!?

We played like we were under a gypsy curse or something today. Personally I'll just tune this result out in the belief that Jupp will make the right conclusions and see a 7-0 in the reserve fixture.

Btw Heynckes is kind of almost late with his subs :? Gomez should have been subbed on 70min max to allow for some time for adjustment

This was the best game for me to watch and to appreciate the technical quality our squad possesses. COMPLETELY DOMINATING HANNOVER when

- 10v11
- poor referee decisions (bad penalty call and no penalty call both on Lahm)
- poor offside calls
- unlucky own goal

Kroos impressed me immensely today actually everyone did (except Rafinha, he was poor). Brilliant game. Actually this also brings us back down to the ground, its a mini wake up call.

We gained so much from this game

+ Recognized our fitness is incomparable to every other team
+ Recognized our technical ability is immense (10v11)
+ Recognized that Heckneyes will do anything for the win and not play conservative
+ Recognized the versatility of Alaba and some of his potential.
+ Got a mini wake up call.

I loved this game.

I really don't care that we lost. I have not been this frantic in front of a TV set since that certain game vs Inter last year. Gustavo
's own goal and a lousy penalty and everyone is praising wonderful Hannover... Best lost we could ever had if there was ever a game to loose... Alaba & Kroos had a great game. Again, if you can call it that. Olic IS NOT fit, Heynkes makes changes WAY too late if ever and Gomez missed chances. We need a right winger FAST! Other than that, WE WILL GET BACK on track. We can't win them all...
Rule #692: Whatever you do in life, Alaba... has done it better.

With 2 minutes left and losing its ok to take these risks.

Of course it is. But if a goalkeeper costs 25 million € you would expect him not to be as clumsy as he just presented himself. After all, he's being treated as a God at the moment (even if he's not had too much work up until the save in Hoffenheim).

Absolutely. He's the highest paid Keeper in the world, surely better than that. I loved Kraft & really wanted to see him stay & develop because I had full faith that he will become a great Keeper soon,Badstuber-Muller-Kroos all got a multiple matches to fail & improve,Kraft never had that chance.

Neuer,I think is the most complete Keeper ever, can tackle, head, pass, shoot & is VERY Intelligence, the dude has assists & is like a playmaker Goal-keeper, But a mistake is a mistake. Still it is sad to see Bayern youth products go away, like it was with Hummels.

Last 4 matches:

1 win (against a crap newly-promoted team)
2 draws (one lucky, one unlucky)
1 loss

Must say I completely agree!

Hannover were just bunch of pussies that started wasting time after 60th minute when they were 2:0 up and playing defensive infront of their own fans!

Our players gave everything today and we must admit that! It was just one of those days when almost everything went wrong for us.

1. Soft penalty awarded [even tough I must say Lahm had another below average defensive display today]
2. Boateng red card [it was wrong what he did but if that player hadnt tripped over another player it would only be a yellow]
3. Unlucky with 2nd goal !!!
4. Offsides [what offsides??]
5. Penalty on Lahm [that could be awarded with todays criteria]
6. Two woodworks
7. few 100% chances that were somehow blocked at the right time

All in all our players gave everything they had and we outplayed them but the ball just didnt want to go in...while they had their share of luck.

Well its clearly not our best period, but I would rather have the PERFECTLY NORMAL dip in forn at this point of the season rather than later. Hopefully it will end following this game. Though, BVB are back into contention :o

I agree with the notion that it was the most entertaining (read: nerve-wracking) match since LvG! Whether that's a good thing, however...

Basically, I uphold the "Bayern is so good they don't need to complain about refereeing" ideal. I don't want to think this game over too much, instead I just want the Pokal game against a weak opponent where the boys can enjoy themselves. Of course knowing our luck we'll probably lose that too. :P

A pity we didn't get to see Bayerdusel though.

Perhaps some don't like to hear this, but Muller has been quite unspectacular these last three games.
Other than that, the linesman kept finding new way to call offsides on Gomez. He was very poor.

A few noticable points from me -

1 - Lahm got brutally exposed as LB,I still feel he is defensively much more solid at RB & it's not very easy for a right footed player to play at LB in all cases. Lahm is amazing attackingly & pretty solid defensively overall so you could call it a bad game. But the reason why heyneckes brought Alaba for Rafinha was he knew that lahm was getting owned at LB.

Sometimes I wonder with Heyneckes so little trust in rafinha, would it not be better to got for a CIssiko/Crisicito or some-one like that & play Lahm at RB,with rafinda back-up RB & COntento back-up LB.

2 - Kroos had a good game. It's just that he is not ready or good enough to be CAM of the best team in the world RIGHT now. He needs 2-3 years more & he will be in that position. On a side-note I think Kroos is a complete carbon copy of Bastian, maybe a lazier version. But if he works hard & improves on defending he will ultimately be Bastian's successor in that CM role.

3 - Alaba has got a fantastic 1st touch. He may not have the speed of a winger or the defensive capabilities of a LB but his 1st touch seemed better than Ribery, nice crosser. NEEDS atleast 20 minutes playing time every game or should be loaned because it is hearting his developmental oppurtunities.

4 - Badstuber has improved but still has to work on his balance.

5 - Gustavo is not a CB,Bayern should look for one soon,Gustavo is a top notch ball winner though.

6 - Heyneckes is a complete gambler & a risk taker. I dont think I have ever seen a team play with 1 DEFENDER(that also a guy like Lahm) before.

7 - Gomez needs to be taken off after 70-75 minutes otherwise it is usless to bring Olic/Peterson. 5 minutes is not enough to make a difference. Gomez's 1st touch is horrible & Gomez misses a lot of chances.

8 - Daniel Van Buyten should have been on the bench & should have come on a Striker, has a MUCH better 1st touch than Gomez.

As long as he stays on the right wing, Muller will never be as good as we all know he can be. It is no secret that he best operates from the middle (Kroos' position). Maybe next game Heynckes should play him in the middle and give Alaba a starting berth on the wing (he kind of deserved it)

Yes, Muller is not a RW for me as well. Simply he does not have a Robben like speed to make the difference or a Messi like dribbling ability, he is a good player, but we need AMAZING players.

Muller's best position is behind Gomez where Kroos is & I believe Kroos' is in Schweni's paired up with someone like Gustavo. Somehow Kroos reminds me of Schweni. Schweni is still awesome though.
