Another thrilling and quite enjoyable game with passion and goals galore. I was biting my nails up to the last second and that miss by Huntelar at the end.

I am posting on the wrong thread again, aren't I? Oh whatever, I'm enjoying this season's Dortmund start as much as Heynckes unbeaten run.

Shaqiri looked okay... aside from that miss immediately after coming on. His pace was causing problems. He made well timed runs. He didn't force anything and kept possession. He almost had a hand in a goal if that Alaba poke was a lil more to the left.

Dante even looked good today. Granted it's an extremely helpful bonus that Lahm and Xabi Alonso can track back into any open gaps exposed. Moskow might have the pace up top to exploit that, though.

The tough sledding continues for Lewandowski. At BvB they tended to sit back and counter. I'm not sure hoe often he's had to deal with teams sitting back in complete bunker against us. That's all we seem to face anymore. He'll break out in time. I think Tuesday may be the time he does.

Our attack seems to gel very well. Just need to have Müller and Lewandowski find their scoring form and Ribery will have a tough time getting into the team.

Also just need Thiago back so Lahm can play RB again. He's so hopeless offensively :(

Btw, Lahm's shots are weak.

Good to see Benatia come on, we'll need him for the more important matches. Pity we didn't get to see him play alongside Boateng.

Can't wait for the injury victims to start coming back into the team, it's a bit frustrating knowing we are playing without so much firepower.

Never doubted we'd win, though our performance wasn't that good. Happy to see Gotze scoring again. Alaba and Muller played very well but Muller needs to finish better. Lewandowski was not really a threat.

You probably won't have to wait too long, they should both start against CSKA on Tuesday.

Overall a good game although in their only chance we risked losing it all. Thanks Neuer. My diss remains our new nr9.

I think that we are just on the right track,I didn't want to comment earlier beacause after the big test against City I wanted to see how our team will take on,if it was just a good game because we always perform at CL or we're actually a superb team but with many important absences and injuries.
After 4-5 games and this game today against Koln(away!) it's pretty clear I think that we're back in the bussiness, our pressing is good,Alonso provides everything is needed and Kroos departure is like it never happened,we're pretty solid at the back, our movement upfront game by game is better especially now with Robben's touch,Gotze seems back in action by scoring, assisting and fills the Ribery role as the alterego of Robben.

Of course we need an improvement, our lack of finishing and Lewy's let's say poor performances or even better not scoring as much as we'd like is a thing that needs focus and instant improvement, well overall I'm very satisfied till now and I can say loud clear that when our main core will be back such as Thiago,Schweini,Ribery,Benatia and Lahm as an RB,Bayern will definetely shine.

P.S:Love for Rafinha's heart,he gives everything but for god's sake,he is not a Bayern starter level, plus that we have the best one for that role, please Pep when Basti,Thiago will be back, let it go,Lahm is a decent midfielder, was a good "fix" when we had injuries but enough,Robben-Lahm duo is from another planet.

I disagree about Lewandowski playing poor. He's playing pretty good, just lacks goals atm..

Have a good feeling for this season.

Cologne supposedly had a very strong defence but FCB proved to be too much for the hosts on Saturday, positioning its stars to make their penalty area defending chaotic.

Philipp Lahm was more of an attacking midfielder than anything else, as it showed throughout the game, as he took multiple shots on the keeper.

This is what's bothering me since City game. Lahm is more than a CDM now, he's a CAM and he doesn't display enough vision, dribbling ability, and clinical finishing to be one. Thiago can't come back soon enough.

Agreed. Him holding the ball up inb the box is a gorgeous sight, but he is lacking runners to make lay-offs to. He seems a bit isolated, he'll take time to adapt.

I think Lewandowski and Götze have already shown glimpses of their former chemistry and will only get better. Especially as soon as Thiago Alcantara returns into the starting line-up.
