All good things must come to an end. They always do. Still don't understand why Martinez is playing CD. Could of been 3 nil if it weren't for Neuer. If one player deserves player of the year its Neuer.

Mitchell Weiser is a RB/RM and he played as RB.

You mixed him up with Weihrauch (?)

I dont' know, I thought he was an attacking-winger.

Weiser was a RW, probably is.
RB is the place where he has played for us and where we'd like him to develop.

His performance yesterday suggests he is better as a winger but we can't judge on just one game.

I hope that he becomes a good RB because it is a more necessary position.

This is the article from Bild

I think that it has to do with inferior goal difference in the league than last season

The team of coach Pep Guardiola comes as Heynckes' Triple-winner after 29 Round to 78 points (each 25 wins, three draws and one defeat), but has the slightly inferior goal difference 82:17 In this hits is currently +65. The Heynckes's team then stood at 70 (83:13).

New manager, more injuries this season, teams are more wary of us than they were last year (especially at the beginning). Considering all those factors, I'd say he's done very well so far.

Exactly. After last season it is easy to forget that Jupp pulled a Neverkusen in his first year. Guardiola has won at least 1 trophy (won't count the other two because we only played in them because of Heynckes' triumphs).

I'd rather avoid comparisons.
Facing 2012 and then getting up to do 2013 in that style is a very rare case.
That just can't be compared.
On contrary, I'd rather attribute a part of this season's success to Jupp. The rise of team-spirit and individual qualities too cultured last season have played a pretty big role.

Let's see if Benfica do it. I wish them well. :)

I wouldn't quite term it that way.

I guess everyone read about the rant from other Buli clubs at our supposed indifference towards the Augsburg game.
Firstly, they have no right to tell us what to do. Nor do have rights to 'insult' our players.
I hope they remember Sammer told made a comment about extra dedication and training at Bayern, they were pretty irked.

However, I just came across this quote from Bracker(Augsburg). Calling Neuer kid made me chuckle. :D
However, Augsburg centre-back Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker pointed out after the game that Bayern had still played a number of first-team players, and that his side should be proud of their victory.

“Mandzukic has played Champions League, hasn’t he? And this [Manuel] Neuer kid will play at the World Cup, I believe," he said. "Guardiola is pretty decent as well. We don’t have to feel ashamed for this win." [source]

Why not? Up until 11th April we were serious treble contenders, then it all went downhill in 5 weeks when we lost to Dortmund that night, then the 5-2 humiliation on the 12th and then disaster dahoam a week later. The way we lost that final, having had 3 opportunities to wrap it up (Muller's goal, Robben's penalty, Mata's penalty), and it being at home, make it worse than Leverkusen's lost final 10 years earlier too.

I do agree on this though:
AdepT wrote:Facing 2012 and then getting up to do 2013 in that style is a very rare case.

Our treble is the most remarkable of all trebles achieved to date for two reasons. First of all, no one won it in a more convincing manner than Bayern last season: we did not have a single easy game in the CL knockout rounds yet we won every game with such a convincing scoreline. We won the league in record time (although of course that's been broken now :) ), and we broke countless records along the way. But secondly and more importantly was the 2012 disaster. After that I don't think anyone was expecting to win a treble the following season. I expected it to destroy our team mentally and I remember predicting that we won't make it further than the QFs in the CL before the season started.
